The reason why we don’t release all this information upfront is that solicitations tend to get leaked to the public prematurely. It is better to let out controlled tidbits of information leading up to release to increase the excitement and to get keep the community’s interest over a longer period of time. Finally, it is desirable to leave some aspects of the expansion unknown for the unboxing. Kinda like the excitement of opening up packs of hockey cards.
