Rey and Bb8 Doll

Sweet gift for a tween who likes Star Wars. Nice accessories. Well made and sturdy. Fun.

This is a gift for my young niece who is a big fan of Rey. She loves the new movies and I’m happy to see the geekiness continue. I wasn’t sure about these new dolls when I first saw them at the 70th Star Wars celebration. After growing up with Barbies who joints would pop out easily and hair that could be pulled out by brushing, I was worried that maybe doll quality hadn’t come up. Thankfully this Rey Barbie doll looks amazing. The quality of the face is beautiful and looks like Daisy Ridley. The hair is even better. Doesn’t look brittle or sad. The buns also look adorable as well. BB8 is well designed too and isn’t painted weird or lopsided. I do feel like the lightsaber is a little long but than again it doesn’t matter. Better to be a little longer than a little shorter. The closing is phenomenal and matches Rey’s ending scene look perfectly. With her blaster to match on her hip. I will say any parent who thinks that this doll doesn’t set good standards for girls is a fool. Not only does the doll not focus on hips or bust but looks to be more life like and realistic for a Barbie-like doll. This is a Christmas gift for my neice so I don’t know what she’ll say on Christmas. However, I know this is a must have doll for any little girl or woman who loves Star Wars and loves Rey.

This doll is a really nice compliment to the Star Wars Forces of Destiny series that any young Rey/Star Wars fan will enjoy. Rey has pleasant, realistic features and is fully articulated with realistic hair. She is a nice alternative to Barbie.

My two year old son absolutely loves Star Wars, he has a Kylo Ren doll from the 12" collection, and while this particular "girl power" line is a bit more targeted to girls, he love BB-8 just as much as the rest of the gang, so I wanted to get him this Rey instead of the one from the 12" scale set. I was mostly concerned about him being too rough with the "hair" and it becoming a mess (cause again, he's only 2), but he absolutely loves it to the point of being gentle with her in the most adorable way. Added bonus, it's very fitting that his Rey figure is a bit smaller than his Kylo, cause Adam Driver is definitely much taller than Daisy Ridley. And they both go with him everywhere now and I love that we share this fandom. He'll be getting more from this line for his birthday!

A wonderful little set with the robot and the light saber. Action figures that can bend at the knees and have fabric clothes are harder and harder to find. Highly recommended!

The hands detach, which is “handy” when you want to take the jacket off. But I fear for it’s durability in the “hands” of my 7 yr old. Sorry, couldn’t help it.

Very cute and good quality! My girls asked for this doll for Christmas and were so excited to get it. This doll is the same size as a regular Barbie. She swings her arm when you move her hips also.

It’s an excellent collectible. It made for a great gift. My only downfall for this product is that there was damage to the inside of the box with the figure before the box was opened. However, that damage to the box did not interfere with the product itself.

I got as a Xmas gift for my 5 year old. Not opened yet. But looks good.

My 5 year old loves Rey even though she won't see this movie for awhile. My husband has been waiting to share StarWars with her, they're both pretty excited right now!
