180 g remastered vinyl it just doesn’t getting any better.

This is not a compilation of original music from various film scores. This contains new recordings from the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and several guest musicians. The songs are more or less true to the originals, but some re-arrangement has taken place to highlight the soloists. And, some of them are FANTASTIC! Mombasa alone is worth the price of admission. It is easily as good as the original, yet different in attack and dynamic range thanks to an inspired performance by 2Cellos. When I really want to slip into wannabe audiophile mode, I sit back in my listening chair and let this excellent album wash over me. Five stars.

I’m lovin it

I love all types of music but most of all I love music that moves me. This CD brings me joy. I listen to it in my car. I get so bored with the same songs on the radio and my car is older and doesn't have the new adaptions for XM or streaming. So, I listen to various artists and this is my favorite right now. The utilization of the various instruments in these pieces by Hans Zimmer is excellent. So bold, compelling and incredibly beautiful...then soft and romantic, again one of my favs.
