Impossible to Easy: 111 Delicious Recipes to Help You Put Great Meals on the Table Every Day

Great buy! Easy to prepare with kids, and kids like it too!
We bought these years ago. I had no idea that the review was never done. But let me tell you, we love this book! We bought two of Irvine's and we used them so often that my husband has the favorite recipes memorized. We were moving and asked by a friend if they could have the books and gave them to him. He too loves them. The recipes are healthy, easy to fix, and delicious. We have Autistic kids and one with EFI and their sensitivity to food smells and textures often keep them from eating anything. These recipes allow them to help cook and they taste as they go along and suddenly, they are interested in the food. It's helped in the past, but when they see they are preparing the food and it "looks good" it makes a huge difference. We were happy with our investment and grateful that they came recommended to us.

Great book plenty receips.
Robert is a good man got to love his ambitions to help restaurant's out. His book 111 recipes is a good book. The meals are sort of easy to make if you have all the ingredients you need. I would of liked to see more simple American dishes like hamburger , fish and chips meat loaf and fried chicken.

Not easy and not right recipes
I've seen Irvine's show on the food channel and met him in person on a cruise. He's an entertaining guy full of good cooking tips (like using grape seed oil not olive oil for high temperature cooking). But this is not a good cookbook. The recipes are complex using ingredients and cook ware not common or available to the average household. And some of the recipes are quite wrong. For example, one of the first in the book is Caesar Salad, which is suppose to mimic the Caesar Salad made at the table in steak restaurants I just can't believe he missed two essential features of at the table Caesar Salad dressing - Dijon Mustard and mashing the anchovy into the dressing - he can be forgiven for missing red wine vinegar because that is the secret ingredient nobody mentions but separates the good from the great.Enjoy Irvine's shows but pass on this cookbook.

Impossible to Easy: 111 Delicious Recipes to Help You Put Great Meals on the Table Every Day
Robert Levine is fabulous. I love his Impossible Restaurant series. He cooks wonderful flavored meals in minutes and I was looking forward to do the same at home with his book. However, his receipts all have ingredients that are not in your typical household. There is not a single receipe in this book that contains ingredients that I would use more than once therefore it was not worth the investment for me. Maybe in the future he will make one for everyday use. If you are seeking recipes for romantic evenings, special occasions, elegant dinners or to impress then I would recommend this book. If you are looking for recipes that you can add to your "everyday" meals then I would not recommend this book.

I don’t know with some people are complaining about because this book is awesome!
I’m laughing at some of the people on here that are saying that the dinners look too complex and the steps are complicated. One woman even actually had the nerve to write, “I can’t even use the food that’s just in my house, I have to go out and buy what it is that I want to make that’s in his book”😂😂Um, YEA!THAT’S HOW IT WORKS. I love the intro, I love the fact that there’s huge pictures of what the food is supposed to look like l..And then you turn to the back and it gives you the page number of that recipe, then you follow the recipe while you’re making it and flip back and go look at the picture to make sure that you made comes out looking like that picture or at least close to it.I also love the nostalgic photos of him in black-and-white working side-by-side with other chefs when he was younger. Some people didn’t like that for whatever reason, but no complaints from me or my husband at all with this! TOO EACH THEIR OWN!

I like this chef!
The one reason I bought his book is because he is a practical chef, no nonsense, direct to the point! And, he is an improviser! His book has a lot of practical advises and approaches. I love the "Timeline" in his book because it takes away that feeling of intimidation and fear of spending long hours in the kitchen. It will help me focus, organize, and get it done in systematic way. While I haven't tried the recipes in this book yet, but I have tried his recipes in Food Network. I'm happy with the results.

Fantastic cookbook!!
I have many cookbooks in my collection but none are written as well as this one!!! This book would be fantastic for anyone that’s learning to cook. He explains EVERYTHING in such great detail right from start to finish & even pointers in between… 😝 It almost feels like he’s sitting right next to you & going through step by step in each recipe. More cookbooks should be written this way & hope the rest of his books are the same!!! He has such a creative mind & his recipes are so yummy!!Only negative… wish there were more pictures.

Some of the recipes take quite a while to prepare. But so far, the 10 I've tried are all delicious.
