Yum 😋. Nice flavor, easy to use, high-quality miso
Delicious. This is delicious miso and every recipe that I have used it in turns out delicious. In my opinion the flavor is mild and sweet umami. I like to make some meal plans ahead of time so that I know I will use it within the recommended time frame after it has been opened. The packaging is convenient, and easy to measure with. I have ordered this multiple times and each time it is shipped intact and comes with a far out expiration date so I can take my time and plan to use it. I will definitely be ordering this again in the future- it is very good!

A REMARKABLE PRODUCT WITH MANY USES
As hard as it may be to believe, my wife used this to make Chocolate Chip cookies.....and they are fantastic!

Too good. No alchohol!!! Thank you!!! I just take what I need…put the rest in the freezer…add a lil salt and dashi 😋

Worked well
We used this for a sauce base in a meat and veggie stir fry and in a second rice and veggie dish. The family said it was delicious. It was a bit high for cost for a recipe ingredient but compared to other like items it was inexpensive. The type of packaging was easy to get the miso out of. I wish it had a reseal feature but I used a ziplock bag as we used it for back to back dinners.

Just what I needed
I needed it for a recipe but once opened you need to use the rest of the miso within a week. Not happy with that

Pricier than some but well worth it
By far miles above the other shiro misos offered here. True shiro miso mild, light colored sweet with just the right amount of saltiness. Maybe superior because it’s made in Japan. Makes the best salmon Chan Chan Yaki. Just wish they’d make it available in larger more economical packages.
