Gets the job done
Has almost everything you'd expect from this price range- 3 usb3 ports, a HDMI port, and the charging port itself. It's a good product, nice build quality and ergonomic for the Steam Deck, it firmly keeps the big device. It can work with cases if they are thin.On the side note I tried using this with the Nintendo Switch but it didn't work for me.

Still using years later
It does the job, still using it, only complaint is lack of ethernet, but that is more of a me issue.Does great at holding the deck up and letting me use more ports, not bad for the price!

Works great with 65w charger and 720p
I bought a second charger (65W) so I don't have to constantly plug and unplug the original one when I'm taking the Steam Deck out, also to avoid possible charging issues. Don't mind the lack of Ethernet port as I don't have Gigabit nor a wire close by to begin with, 5G is good enough for me. Folks complaining about 4K being 30hz or something on this dock, wouldn't know about that, I'm just running it at 720p, which really is the optimal resolution to get the best performance out of the Steam Deck, and looks just fine on my 1080P TV. Only negative thing I would say is that the Deck fits a bit too loosely on it, good thing because you can take it in and out effortlessly, but bad because it feels like it would easily tip over if you pushed it, but you should be fine as long as you don't have little kids or pets around. Also, when putting it into position there's no guides or anything, so take care not to cover the vents on the back of the Deck, there's enough clearance on the dock for them, but it's possible to slightly cover one of them and not notice if you're a bit off center.

Only sort of works
Sometimes it works fine other time I have to unplug and plug in several times before something happens. It also did not let me have an external drive connect to it. Don't buy it. Get a nicer one that definitely works

Steam dock is late to the party.
My nephew and I both have one of these docks and they work beautifully. These were like $50 cheaper than the Steam Dock but they do lack an Ethernet slot but if you had to have one of those you can still pick up a great quality dock from Amazon that has an Ethernet port for $20 less than a Steam Dock. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of the Steam Deck and it has quite literally changed everything about how I play games to the point that I could not imagine my life without a Steam Deck but I also feel that Valve dropped the ball on the dock and now that there are so many great docks on the market, it just does not make sense to show up late and charge more.

I wish it worked with my TV
I bought this to try to save some money instead of buying an official dock from Valve. I didn't see anything to watch out for as far as compatibility because I had an HDMI cord and all that but after a few months of having this sit on my table I finally got around to hooking it up and the deck didn't recognize any other display through this. I tried changing resolution, turning the deck on and off again, changing screen refresh rate and detection - nothing. I'm sure it's a great dock when it works but there's nothing to really troubleshoot past this point and I'm not sure whether it's the dock, the TV, or the Steam Deck itself that has the problem.
