My blunder, actually helped
I bought 3 tablets, so I needed 3 protectors and bought a triple pack. Now my blunder was I bought 3 triple packs. Oops.. Well this goof helped. Just a little back ground on me. I am a seasoned veteran at putting these protectors on game devices, tablets, phones (even curves screens) etc, but only once in a super blue moon, will I screw one up.Now the company tells you to watch the video before application and I did because you never know what you might learn. I do recommend watching it. After watching the Video and seeing what came with the packaging, there are cheap tools that they do not provide like a Cleaner or tape for Lint or hinges S I decided to list my steps I took to help you. But, you still may get lint caught in between, so clean the work area and best to use a lint free surface. Now lets start with step 1) Place the protector with the #1 Film on the tablet screen of the tablet and center it (you should have #2 facing you), apply a couple of low adhesive tape, (scotch tape works) on 1 of the longest sides of the tablet to use the tape as a Hinge. Step 2) pull the protector off to the side like opening a door and use an alcohol wipe (like for glasses) or just splash a small about of Isoprophyl Alcohol on a lint free towel. "NOT" a lot, just enough to dampen the towel, this will avoid leakage into the tablet. (if a little gets in, just allow some time to let the IPA evaporate) Step 3) wipe dry with the proved micro fiber cloth, Step 4) use some scotch tape for any stubborn lint pieces, Step 5) Double check your work at this point, if you see a smear or lint, repeat steps 2-4. Once you know your good to go, remove the #1 film (avoid touching the surface once it is removed) then swing the protector (door) closed. use the provided squeegee to slowly push the air bubbles out to the nearest side. Step 6) Now once the air is out, remove the #2 film left on the outside and a final clean with IPA or glass cleaner, again small amounts so it does not leak into the tablet and you tablet should be air and lint free. Now here is where my blunder is. I am thankful for ordering 9 total, because as careful as I was my first protector on my first tablet some how got lint on it, but the 2nd protector was perfect. My 2nd tablet some how got lint on 3 protectors before the 4th one was good. and the 3rd tablet, the first protector was perfect and now I have 2 extra out of 9 for 3 tablets and 4 wasted. So don't be afraid to order extra.I rated Easy to Install as a 4 star, only because they don't provide certain cheap tools to help you achieve perfection. That is why I threw in some of my tips. I didn't use the Tape for a hinge until I wasted 2 protectors on the 2nd tablet which this step did help a lot for installation, but nothing to prevent the lint. the Prep and surface area and prep of the tablet surface is what eliminates the lint. The Anti-Glare and finger smudges work just as good as any other protectors I have used in the past so 5 stars to them. I also have very little difference on how my Touch Screen reacts to my finger commands, so another 5 Stars. So the over all 4 Star Rating is because if you have the smallest piece of lint on the screen stuck under the protector, it will annoy you. Some of these steps and tools, would help.

Eh. Its ok.
Went on easily. My issue is its thick, so you have to make sure you push or hold your finger there.

Prefect match with the Kindle Paperwhite screen!
Currently typing from my fire HD 8, which I have the screen protector installed on. This protector is fantastic. When I put it on, the screen felt just like the screen of the old Kindle 6" I had years ago, and that soft feel is exactly what I was hoping for. I took a star off of the rating for a few reasons, and they're not even significant issues. It does cause a slight, and I mean very slight, loss in resolution. However, the Fire HD 8 does not have a crystal clear resolution to begin with, so it isn't that much of a bother. I've already gotten used to it while typing this review. The protector also causes a little bit of a rainbow effect like you see on some other screen protectors, but I don't have much of a problem with this because its just something that comes with having a screen protector and its only really noticeable when you are viewing a page that has a white background. Lastly, dust seems to stick to the surface of the screen protector pretty easily. Even that isn't a major problem. To get rid of the dust all I have to do is turn the screen off, wipe my hand over the screen, and turn it back on. It does a remarkable job of keeping fingerprints off, the glare reduction looks just like the paper versions of the Kindle, and you can easily get rid of prints using a cloth or just your sleeve. Installation is a bit tricky, but that's how it goes with all screen protectors. I messed up the first installation, but on the second one I peeled the back off along the long side of the screen protector. The Fire HD 8 has a slight ridge at the edge of the screen that will help you line it up correctly and its smooth sailing from there. A credit card does work much better than the cardboard squeegee included in the box, though. Would highly recommend this screen protector

great quality but be careful when installing.
I ended up wasting the first one because i was excepting a little more leniancy as far as positioning went. I watched the video before applying it, and I advise doing the same. I ended up overshooting it at the bottom and it did not adhere to the glass because of the tablets border. I attempted to remove and replace the same screen protector (not really expecting it to be perfect anyway, just mostly for practice) and was unable to stick it on correctly. On the second attempt, I first lined up the bottom and then the top to see where the hole sits over the front camera. while holding the bottom in place, i removed the plastic sheet from the top, like the instructions say, apply the top of the protector as high up as i could, and then worked the squeegee downward, and it applied perfectly. Covers almost 100% of the glass (aside from the camera)I was not expecting the matte finish, (but i hadn't really thought about it either) even though it makes sense for it to be anti glare and finger print resistant (which is definitely is). There is a slight blur to the screen, but nothing major, still easy to read ebooks and watch videos, etc. I actually kind of like the surface the way it is now. It is similar to a kindle paperwhite. And i havent even needed to wipe the screen since i put it on days ago.I put 5 stars on easy to install even though i messed up the first one, but once i realized there was not much room for misalignment, it was pretty easy. I think it pays off in looks though once you get it on there correctly, and not having a large gap around the borders.
