Tumi Men's TUMIPAX Puffer Jacket

It's hard to believe how light this jacket is considering how warm it is. Fits just right. The self-storage feature is a bonus; I'd buy again whether it had that or not.

I have a travel jacket that fits into a little pillowcase. although I like the fit of the jacket, it is inconvenient (for travel ) because it is too easy to misplace the case.With the Tumi jacket, the case is built-in! I gave one to my son as he always forgets his neck pillow when he travels and ends up buying yet another at the airport. Wearing it on/off the plane prevents this from happening. I gifted him & his fiance each one of these neckroll/jackets. I purchased them on the Tumi website for more money. Same product! I saved money buying my husband's here on Amazon. My only beef is that (as per a review saying the jacket runs small), I ordered him an XL instead of his usual size L It was way big, especially at the waist. He is 6' a trim/muscular 175 PDS. He is not big on layering so did not need a lot of extra room under the jacket. We held onto the jacket and ordered a large in the same color (Slate grey). After he tried on the L, he chose to return the XLThere is not a lot of extra room across the chest but the waist and sleeve length fit perfectly. I would say if you have a broad chest and/or full-waist, want to layer, or prefer a roomy fit, I would go with the XL Amazon is so easy to return you may want to just order both sizes to compare. This jacket is comfortably warm but I would not go so far as to say it would work for very cold weather.

Long review...I bought this coat because it was a TUMI, I have a lot of their luggage, backpacks, etc and they're all high-quality. I appreciate this, particularly their zippers, and have told people that they make quality products.I bought this jacket expecting that it would be high-quality too. It cost 3-4x what the "Amazon Basics" puffer coat cost, but I wanted the TUMI. It's been disappointing, to say the least.The first one had feathers coming through the seams and the zipper was impossible to get to catch, it was packaged folded in a way that made it look like a prior return so I exchanged it.The replacement was packaged as new and no feathers. So, I tried it on and again the zipper was very "tight", but it was getting cold and I figured it would work itself out over time. After about a day, feathers started popping through the seams, and while the zipper did loosen up, it's still hard to zip it up and down. Also, it's not warm at all, in fact my old puffer is much warmer and that is a ~$35 Uniqlo one, It's just clearly not a quality product.As a fan of their other stuff, I sent TUMI an email explaining that I own a lot of their products and I like them. I even asked if it was possible that this could be a knock-off. It was a week before Christmas, so I expected a slow response, but 3 days later I got an email reply telling me to contact their repair group and either ship it back at my own expense or find a TUMI store (not a department store they're sold in) and they would ship it at a "nominal cost". No mention of how long it would take to fix (how do you fix feathers coming out of the seams, re-stitch the entire coat?), the "nominal fee", or where a store is. I took this as a blow-off and was really shocked.It's winter, I need a coat. Amazon will exchange it and let me send the old one back after I receive the new one so I have a coat. TUMI won't do this themselves for a customer who's spent thousands on their products?So, here are my biggest issues:- It's embarrassing to walk down the street with feathers popping out of my coat, particularly when I spent a big premium for what I thought would be a quality product.- It's just NOT warm. This is crazy.- The zippers are terrible.- Customer service... WOW, I hope I don't have a problem with any of the other stuff.Long story short, I've lost my taste for the whole brand, not just the coat. I can just not buy their coats... it was that single exchange with their "customer service" that soured me on the entire brand.After a couple of weeks, I was back to wearing my old Uniqlo coat, this one is in the closet. Waste of $127. IMHO, if you're looking for a puffer, go with something else. My experience has been pretty terrible.

I needed a decent jacket for travel between climates with minimal fuss with a coat... this is it! Nice pillow, easy to stow or carry with the backpack and looks sharp. It is sized as stated and more athletic fit. I a 42 reg with athletic build and a large was just right. If you aren't sure, order on the larger side.

I had a Uniqlo and now Tumi the quality between these two down jackets is very comparable, the price on the other hand is not. Tumi is nice and I have nothing to complain about so far (I have worn it for a couple of months). The fit is superior with Uniqlo as it is more European fit while Tumi is loose. The quality is excellent for both but the price puts Uniqlo ahead of the game.

La chamarra no fue de mi agrado, sin embargo creo que algunas personas les gustara, aunque es de marca prestigiada, el material es muy plástico caray demasiada estética, el tamaño no es fiel a una talla estandard, pedí el grande (L) pero parecía XL, lo devolví, deberían de poner una tabla de tallas acorde a esta marca.

Super-impressed by this light-weight down-feather filled jacket. It literally weighs next to nothing and packs very nicely into a neck pillow. Honestly, the best invention for travellers as well as expecting fathers that are trying to get comfortable sleeping on a chair at the hospital. This jacket fits slight large. I normally wear size Medium but i went with Small in this case and it's exactly the slim fit i was looking for. The sleeve cuffs and waistline have an elastic hem, making for a nice snug fit to ward off wind drafts. I considered similar jackets from Uniqlo and Canada Goose, but I'm glad I went with Tumi.

J'aime beaucoup! Très léger, chaud et très pratique pour les voyages! Je le recommande.... peut-être un peu cher mais bon c'est une marque et le seul qui fait un coussin pour la tête.
