Good cloth at reasonable price and fast to deliver
If you've been getting fiberglass cloth at Home Depot, Stop it! Try some of this and you'll know what garbage that is. This is fine threads tightly woven so it doesn't come apart and leave long strings clinging to your gloves (as much) and is much easier to place. This is at a good price, too. Particularly when you consider Prime free shipping and you can get it in a day or two.I see they have 1708, too, at a good price.

Good value. Excellent quality. But...
A bit tough to work with. If you've not laminated with polyester or epoxy resin before, this could be difficult to get a good result due to the stiffness of the product. It will test your abilities, but makes a good strong, weatherproof lamination.

Very tight weave
This is e glass and for epoxy applications. Weave is very tight. When it came folded I was worried about seams and folds. Happily there were no issues when I lay’d it down and applied epoxy. There were no pulls in the material. You need to apply a healthy amount of epoxy to the surface of your project first, then put fabric down. The fabric absorbs the epoxy within a few minutes. You can then squeegee it smooth. Do not try to put epoxy on the surface and hope it goes thru top to bottom-would be disastrous. Squeegee’s nicely smooth. Can get a few air bubbles if not enough epoxy goes down on your surface (my project was plywood). Material will cut with a sharp razor.

Terrible product - should be re-labeled " Resin repellant cloth" - would be a 5 star
The description says "Easy to saturate with resin" - Well it is 100% impermeable to resin, it's actually pretty impressive that it is not absorbing any resin at all. Laminated a surfboard with it, after working the resin for a good 20 min, I pulled the whole cloth without resistance from the board, bottom of the cloth dried as a bone. Wasted time and resin. Do not buy!!! I can see using this thought to protect your floor when you work with epoxy or poly resin, it won't go through.
