One month in and they are awesome
Small but just the right amount of transformation and durability. You will spend the first 24hr memorizing the transformation steps and the next week doing it for your kid constantly. Then popping back on a joint and reminding them to be gentle. I got two, one for my 5yo and one for my 3yo. They both adore them and the 3yo brings it everywhere including bed. They are small but that seems to make it fun esp for the littles. Big win, great value for money

Looks good
I like the core class bots. They are easy to transform and look good on my shelf.

Decent little toy
So, I'm a bit late to the party for this figure and had to put up with the ridiculous inflated price of twenty twish dollars, which has inflated more in the two or three weeks since I bought the figure. Unless you're a hardcore Core Class completionism, save yourself the money and don't buy it at that price. It's not that Ratchet's a bad figure, in fact, he is quite good. The detailing on his chest and head is spot on, and he's quite poseable for the price point and size. Don't expect ankle tilts or anything, but he's poseable enough to get lots of fun stuff out of him. Ratchet has the benefit of being based on one of the most exceedingly simple of the G1 cartoon's design, so his sculpt is far less detailed than the bar-setting toys from War for Cybertron: Kingdom, but this is actually accurate, not a knock on the figure. The part that really degrades Ratchet from "good figure" to "okay figure" is his vehicle mode. The front half is great, with nice detailing and paint, but the rear half is a mess of block white and visible gaps and hinges. It's a shame too, because with some decent paint the rear half would look much more presentable, but as it stands it's fairly ugly. However, a poor vehicle mode is not too much of a dealbreaker for me. Again, the robot mode's color and poseability are en pointe for a Core-sized figure, and I like that it comes with two "generic pistol" accessories so you can recreate his one scene from The Transformers: The Movie. Honestly, I rarely display my Transformers in car mode anyway, so the poor vehicle mode is no problem. As a last note, I'd be remiss if I didn't point that his shoulder insignias are wholly inaccurate. This in and of itself is no issue, as I understand that the Red Cross is a well-defended trademark and that the G1 cartoon designers didn't know any better at the time. However, I think the new logo they came up with for his shoulders is a little too loud and over detailed. Again, not a dealbreaker, and not even a star off because of the fact that they simply legally cannot use the Red Cross logo, just a comment.Overall, a decent toy for its price point.

Another Great Core Figure
The Core line has been full of winners, and Ratchet is another one. Great transformation, nice articulation and overall fun.

One of the best Core Class figures!
Once I saw that this version of Ratchet did not have partsforming as the Earthrise deluxe one did, I was astounded! I wish there were some more paint applications, but otherwise I'm not bothered by the limited articulation because of its size. Love transforming this guy!

Solid figure
Nice little addition to the core class collection. Fits in nicely. Would’ve been better if they released a voyager like they’ll be doing for Ironhide but it’s solid nonetheless.

Transforming into an ornament
I took this transformer and transformed it into a nice little ornament for the Christmas tree. Budget friendly too.
