Got this for my kids ages 2.5 and 4.5, but I use it more then they do because it’s so easy to use. My son 4.5 caught 3 fish on his own. The set comes with everything you need. They are compact and easy to put together and disassemble. Great value too. We have gone through 3 kids poles from walmart previously that broke within 10 minutes of use. Get this set!

These are not junky. I put better quality line on the reels and added a few larger bobbers, size 6 bait holder hooks bigger split shot, and pliers. The kids seem to do fine with them ages 6 and 9, but these could be used by anyone for Blue Gills, crappy, bullheads. I emphasize these are not junk, surprisingly nice little rods,and reels. The case is very well made.

The zipper on each of the bags broke as soon as I unzipped it. Very cheap, the fishing poles were nice.

I bought this for my 12 year old son. It has all the stuff to get started fishing. Nice rod/reel combo. I like the foldable fishing net. The case is very durable. I wish I could buy a couple of them separately.

My 11, 9, 8 and 7 year old grandkids loved them. Everything is included to get started right away. Telescoping rods with detachable reel. The buckets are small, would be great for bait.Great value for the price.(If you catch a fish you will need a pair of pliers to pull the hook out)
