Worked great. Used it with my Hayward pump. Great value, easy install, oring for leak, and drop in fit.

When my pool pump was installed they used the regular 2" home depot fitting which worked great for many years. Until an air leak on the suction side of the pump caused my pump to cavititate when it came on one morning. My pump was running dry for several hours before I noticed it. After replacing the pump filter basket cover O-ring everything worked fine. That's when I noticed the fitting on the outlet of mu pump started leaking from the threads. I never thought my pump would get hot enough to deform the threads on a 2" fitting. So I searched Amazon for Q.D. fittings and came across these QD fittings. Being that I have a Hayward pump I wasn't sure they would fit but since my pump threaded connection are 2" figured they would and they did. These Q.D. fitting are high quality and work perfectly. They also come with 2 spare O-Rings. I am very satisfied with them. You get 2 couplings for the price Home Depot sells just one and these coupling can with stand high temperature in case my pump cavitates again. I highly recommend them.

I encloseed a before and after shot of the pentair multi-valve I had to replace when it developed a crack in the main housing. As is too often the case, I had to cut the PVC pipe to remove it from service. I used the Hi Temp PVC Unions on every port on the new replacement multi-valve. Next time, it will be a non-destructive 10 min job to remove the assembly for any reason at all. Buying these unions and using them liberally doesn't add that much more expense and they are zero hassle. Installers will go the cheapo route if you don't specify that you want these installed. Strongly recommend the use of unions on all pool filter and pump plumbing legs. So far, I am very pleased with the value and performance of these particular union fittings too.

These worked great. Exactly what I needed to install my Pentair filtration system. Pool store wanted way too much and these were very cost effective off Amazon. Glued perfectly and no leaks.

I read all the reviews and as long as you have schedule 40 PVC these will fit. They are very snug and not loose at all. I don't know what kind of pipe people were using who said that they didn't fit.

Good quality and made installation of sand filter easy

These are a better price but buy at your own risk. So far out of 4 of them 1 had a bad gasket and another one was actually manufactured bad with the 2 inch pipe was very lose inside the connection and it did not seal with glue.

Good quality and works very well

Don't buy these - female slip joint side was too large for standard 2” schedule 40 pipe. Not sure how they can be advertised to fit when they clkearly don't. Totally unusable but of course the return process with Amazon was easy as one click - so thank you Amazon for that
