Campus Bike
I ordered this to keep at my college because it was so inconvenient getting around without a car, the post office guys were so nice that they put it together for me when I told them I was just going to drag it outside and put it together. I would say that the process took about an hour and a half so the instructions weren't super clear, but a large portion of the bike comes pre-assembled for you.The thing about biking on a college campus is that absolutely no one is paying attention to what they're doing. Today I had two people walking down the sidewalk and decided I was going to go between them since they were on opposite ends at the same speed, the guy s-walks in front of me, walks back out, and promptly walks back in and stops in front of the bike, so I'd say that the brake is a really good one too.The only complaint I'd have would be that the seat isn't too comfortable, but it's the typical bike seat so there's not much that can be done about that.

Very nice bike for the money!
After reading some of the negative reviews i thought it might explode while assembling it, but i decided to take the risk because that would not be the worst thing that ever happened to me. I'm glad i did. It is a very nice bike for the money. I was surprised pleasantly. The directions were confusing, and some of it applied to a different model. But this is not rocket science haha--the wheel goes where the wheel goes, the handle bars go where the handle bars go. The pedals go where the pedals go. But i'll give you three helpful pieces of information. The pedal on the left side is reverse threaded so that it does not come loose while turning it in the natural direction. So left loosey righty tighty is the opposite there. You'll see. They do this on certain car parts too. It is normal. Second make sure to tighten the handlebar center bolt down hard. The bolt tension actually spreads the grip inside the tube to turn the wheel. So it needs to be as tight as you can get it. Lastly the washer with the tab on each side of the wheel goes last before the nut, and the tab goes into the hole on the frame to prevent it from moving. I recommend this bike. I guess the folks with bent wheels had their boxes get dropped at some point in shipping. The way it was packaged i could see how a really hard drop could cause that. Mine was perfect though. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble. It would have taken 10, but i bought the upgraded large comfort seat, and i installed that too. I build engines in my spare time, so that may be a slight advantage with this sort of thing. But it is easy. Don't let your smart phone take your smartness away from you! Oh, and also you'll want to adjust the brakes because they came loose, but it is very easy. You just loosen the 10mm hex bolt head (with the dome) that pinches the cable on the tire end of the cable. It will retract when loose. Then grab the brake pads with one hand and pinch them up to the wheel where they grip (The stiff cable slides through the adjustment on its own). While holding them there tighten the allen head bolt back, but try to leave a little space so they aren't too tight. You may have to try more than once to get it not too tight or loose. Once it has gripped a little you can let go of the brake pads and use both hands to steady and finish tightening. There you go--firm brakes. Very easy.

Love it!
Purchased as a Gift. Easy setup/lightweight. Grab great inexpensive Gel Seat cover while you're at it. I suggest once you have it setup to take to a local bike shop for proper break alignments for safety and security. A piece of mind Cost of $20.

Bike still functions great just gears and brakes are backwards from a "normal" ...
My daughter loves this bike! However when trying to put it together we had issues with the left peddle due to to much paint causing the peddle to not go in. Finally got that figured out and than realized the handle bars were backwards. Bike still functions great just gears and brakes are backwards from a "normal" bike. But on a side note customer service was AMAZING! so evwn with the issues we had im giving this 4 stars due to the fact they were VERY helpful!!

Good bike hard to assemble
This bike has been sitting in my living room for 4 days now cause I can’t assemble it 😫 I didn’t think about having to put it together. I have gotten a bike in the mail as a gift in the past and i don’t remember it coming in so many pieces. Also the manual is like 75 pages.. Definitely just need a man to do the job! Overall looks like a great bike just having a hard time putting together *a video would be extremely helpful!!*

The hardest bike I ever had to put together
As I said the hardest bike I ever had to put together! The front wheel is a bolt on,which the bolt on one side was striped so couldn’t get it off to put the front wheel on, the breaks on the front very hard to adjust and just forget about the seat.

Terrible
This is the worst product I’ve ever bought. Parts break right out of the package. I bought one for me and one for my wife. Both were terrible. It’s going to take a lot of extra money to even begin thinking about riding this brand new bike.
