This brush was a gift for my dad. He loved it at first but eventually relegated it to be the dog's brush because his man hands didn't like the little handle. I know it's bristles are not artificial because the dog is fascinated by the smell. Seems like it's pretty good quality and would last a while. Also it's bringing out her coat's shine. It's bristles are pretty soft so it's good for a sensitive scalp or someone with fine hair.

Bristles are quite soft, if that is what you are looking for. I have fine hair and it works great for me. Fendrihan makes great brushes, I have a few. This one is small but not too small making it great for travel or every day use.

Excellent brush with soft bristles. Not for thick hair but great for fine or thin hair! The Virtual Nomad is a great merchant to work with. I had a slight problem with my order and they straightened it out right away and made sure I was happy. Great vendor!

100% Boar brissel but less expensive than Fuller Brush

A very nice brush. My husband likes that it doesn’t hurt his scalp. I have noticed that his hair looks shinier and more healthy.

I want a walnut color version.

Very soft bristles - great for thinning hair

It is nice, but not great. It came with the bristles squished despite the box being in perfect condition.I included a picture of the box, and on top of it are all the bristles that fell out of the brush within 10 seconds of me opening the package. After using it in my hair, even more bristles fell out and got stuck in my hair.This is my first real boar bristle brush, so maybe that’s to be expected of genuine boar bristles. But considering the price of the brush I would have hoped that it didn’t shed any bristles into my hair.Some other comments complain about the size of the handle. I will say that I am a woman with smaller than average hands, and I love the size of this brush. It’s part of the reason why I got this specific one. It is advertised as a men’s brush, but I can see how it would probably be uncomfortable for a man or someone with larger hands to hold. So I wouldn’t recommend getting this for someone with larger hands.The quality of the wood itself is very good. The bristles are softer than the average brush, but they can still get through my hair. I wouldn’t recommend it for thicker hair- only fine or medium texture.Overall, it’s a good solid brush. It’s a nice gift, just make sure you open it and take any loose bristles off before gifting it. I will be keeping mine, although I am a bit disappointed with it’s initial shedding.
