I ordered a combo pack containing one black and one white Echo Dot gen 2 wall mount. $11 + tax, very fair price. These are two light-weight and fairly flimsy pieces of plastic.Packaging:They came in a clear baggy with a manual and the small USBs. Nothing in the bag protects any of the pieces from one another and a result, you might receive your wall mounts scraped up and not looking overly great. Refer to my two pictures showing the white mount. The black mount is also scratched. I’m not quite sure of the rationale behind how and why these are packaged and mailed the way they are. At least wrap up the mounts in tissue paper or something to protect them? I ordered a competitor’s wall mount a few months back for my other Echo Dot and the packaging and delivered product is night and day.Functionality:The mounts are ok depending on how you want your Dot to rest. I tried to install horizontally and they sag (see pic 1 of black Dot, then pic 2 of black Dot with me supporting at what would be an even level). Because of this I ended up having it hang vertically (see pic 3 of black Dot). My house is brand new and the outlets are not playing a role. These just sag, plain and simple.Overall:It’s only $11-$12; you’re probably reading this telling me to get over it. In my mind why bother spending that money on these when there’s countless other mounts available for same or less cost and are probably packaged better.I haven’t decided if I am keeping these due to not being able to have them mounted horizontally as I would like, and then the obvious...they look like they were used and sent to me, or they just got scratched up due to the lack of product protection.

I was excited to use these with my second-gen Echo Dots. Unfortunately, the hole for the plug to go through -- which supports the Dot -- was too small. The weight of the device pulled it right out of the socket because the bracket would slip off the edge of the plug. The brackets also felt like those cheap plastic cup holders we had for our car back in the late 70s. I returned them for a refund.

So I have Alexa's in every room in my home since I am a tech geek like that. And for my small units I really wanted to take them off the counter tops and have them near there power supply. This was a great value! Takes latterly seconds to install and then Poof your all ready to go! I also really like the fact that you can choose your color combinations and you are provided with shorter USB cables.

Pretty solid and sturdy; however, it is plastic, so just keep that in mind. My Echo Dot fits in there smoothly and has found a new home. The wire that it comes with is just a small usb c cable. They are usually pretty cheap anyways. So what you’re essentially paying for is two plastic mounts and two usb c cables. The adapter is not included and you will need to use the echo dot’s adapter, which came with the echo. The adapter fits perfectly into the mount, so that is a plus too.

Perfect. What a great idea. Keeps them out of the way with no cord to hide it get in the way. Really great design.

This unit holds the Echo Dot in a convenient place for easy use. If the Dot were placed on a counter, table or other surface it would continually be in the way and end up being moved frequently or just unplugged and stored. In the mount it is unobtrusive and always ready to be used.

This is awesome to keep cords out of sight and still keep our Alexa in a good spot for use. Plastic casing seems durable.
