This is a really nice stabilizer. The carbon fiber makes it light
This is a really nice stabilizer. The carbon fiber makes it light, so the stabilizer isn't extremely heavy after you add a camera and weights to it.It comes with a good assortment of weights, and is easily adjustable. It takes some time to get set up properly, but once you have it set up and balanced it works great. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality given the price difference between this stabilizer and some of the "name brand" ones.I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is on a budget and looking for a good stabilizer.

Quality Product! Takes Time to Figure Out! Had to Add Weight to Top of Camera to balance Better!
First off, this thing looks and feels legit! The carbon fiber materials are hefty and seem durable! No assembly required! The quick-release plates make it rather easy to adjust. I just wish the left to right plate had markers like the front to back one so I could measure my adjustments more accurately. I'm using this thing with a Sony a6000 with a Sigma 1.4 16mm and 56mm lens. The only downside to using a smaller, light-weight camera like the a6000 is that it isn't top-heavy enough for good balance. After adding an external battery pack and one of the included weights to the top of my camera though, it seems to have the right weight and balance. This may be different if you're using a larger, full-frame camera or if you have a cage or other accessories attached to your camera that make it top-heavier! Any stabilizer or steadicam you use (cheap or expensive) will require time to master, and this one is no different than a more expensive glide-cam. Camera-operating really is a craft! So don't expect to be a pro right off the bat. Any review you read will tell you this, Neewer even warns you of this beforehand in the item description, thanks Neewer! So don't be discouraged if it takes some practice to master! It will also take some time to figure out how to efficiently configure it and properly learn how to use it, but at this price-point, you can really get some professional-looking footage at an affordable rate! If you are just starting out or on a budget, go for this baby! It's worth it. And there are plenty of videos on YouTube explaining how to use it properly!

Rather stable and helps a lot
No more shaky shots thanks to this stabilizer. Hand held gripping for maximum portability. I use this to be able to film skating videos and it's absolutely perfect for it. I can skate with the other person and hold the camera with one hand and get incredible footage! The handle is adjustable so I can hold it comfortably as well as low or high. The height can be stretched all the way up to 24 inches or all the way down to 15. The weight clamps are really great for balance and keep my camera from swinging around or fixing to one side. I'm really diggin it and won't film without it now.

knobs are difficult to work with
All in all i like the device, the knobs could have been better thought of, the weight system is also difficult to adjust, the bolts fall out and you have to use 2 hands to loosen and tighten, it spins freely. The knob to tighten the swiss argus type plate has to be in front because the plate has to go in a certain direction and mine is backwards of what is marked on the unit which is fine, but different. The front to back camera adjustment knob is mounted almost directly under the argus mount and is hard to get to if your camera is mounted, and it has to be in order to balance the unit, so not very well thought of there. For the price this thing works, i wouldn't recommend it to someone that will be using it on a daily basis, but for the occasional use it will do in a pinch.

It's great
Works comfortably for both left and right handed people. Tested and true. Quick extension with the wing nut lock. And the weights are adjustable so I can use it with them or without and customize the weight amount. Purely smooth and flexible adjustment while shooting videos. Functional product at a reasonabl price.

Need to be a high wire acrobat to get this to function correctly
Very disappointed in this unit. Extremely difficult to center balance and get it to operate smoothly. Takes so much time to attempt to calibrate and extra time on the job site is lost income. The reviews where people say it is easy and works great have to be fake, because it is truly a challenge to get it to function as hoped.

I think it’s not great for lightweight cameras, maybe it’s just bad
Quality seems pretty good. Basically impossible to use. Perhaps it works better with a dslr or something that cant take more counterweight, and my mirrorless camera is just too light. I used lumix g6 with 14-42mm Panasonic lens and a shotgun mic and my footage was not very stable despite many attempts to balance and many reshoots. Don’t buy this if you plan to use footage professionally. I should have just rented a real stabilizer.

A good purchase.
Good camera stabilization, there is a learning curve however, but very similar to one two or three times as much in price. good build, quality aluminum parts, not for rugged use but looks like it will hold up well if you take care of it. Only two flaws! Which could be a problem the plastic rod tighteners and spring loaded quick release. Otherwise very nice for the price!

Veramente valido

Cheap good alternative to a Gimbal
I picked this up for a short notice video shoot, been practicing with it and it does help steady your video, takes practice though, gonna be a learning curve for sure. Looks well built and works as it should!Cheap alternative to a gimbal

J’adore.
