Really happy with this smoothie-making machine! I have used it once or twice daily since purchasing and it’s really benefitted my life. This blender is powerful, easy to clean, quick and efficient at blending ingredients and really easy to stop/start. It's really quite fun to 'lock' the cup in and out! It arrived very well packaged in the brand box. With it’s sleek, black design, it’s more aesthetically pleasing and also seems sturdier than the Magic Bullet I was contemplating buying before I settled on this. It came with two containers - a smaller 500ml and larger 800ml capacity. Both containers fit nicely in my under-counter fridge door, which makes it easy to save any left-over liquids or store something for later. I haven't yet tested out the drinking lid. I’ve used this blender to make soups, curry pastes and fruit/vegetable smoothies, and all have turned out beautifully. Noise is to be expected with this type of product as standard, but it is manageable noise. Although it makes me wince a little the second I switch it on in my quiet house, I can still happily manage a conversation in the same, small kitchen while it goes about its business! Also, because it works so quickly, there’s no need to leave it on very long at all. Some people mentioned leakage whilst blending. I did experience this, but only due to filling the small container too high, and not securing the lid tight enough. As long as you use the appropriate container and make sure the lid is adequately screwed on, there are no problems! It's not a fault with the product itself in my opinion. I use a tea-towel to help make sure it's fitted tightly. If I’m making a solo-smoothie, I use the small container - if I’m making one for family, I use the larger one. Simple! :)

Really great blender, technically. only downside is no on and off button and quality of materials I would give a 4/5 slight smell of burning from the motor when trying to blend larger quantities but still manages to power through. Really good value compared to leading brands.

UPDATE* seller has been echt super. Kind enough to offer a replacement. Fantastic customer service. I can't rate them highly enough. Very impressed 🥰 Hartstikke bedankt x Original review below: I had my nutribullet over ten years without breakages. I bought this vonshef in good faith that it would live for at least a few years.. Less than 18 months on and the broken plastic underneath the spinning part is contaminating my smoothies. Before anyone suggests it's dishwasher damage. I don't own a dish washer and have always cleaned this very gently with a soft toothbrush and dishcloth. At first, I thought I'd added something black to my mix but no. It's clear to see from tiny plastic shards on my kitchen worktop, that it continues to lose various tiny plastic shards. Worst of all I've been unknowingly drinking these plastic shards for weeks, thinking they were something in my oatmeal . I have contacted seller. So i shall keep everyone updated on the outcome. Such a pity because in the beginning, it was a fabulous blender.
