Loved reading another of Elaine’s novels. I find it very hard to put her books down once I start reading them. Thank you for another great read Elaine, I can’t wait for your next book.

You will not put these down. I have them in audible, and they amazing books make sure you her them in order.

Although I enjoyed reading about the early life of Betty I did miss the other characters but obviously some of them were not around at the time and I will look forward, hopefully, to the next Woolworth Girls book

This is now 3 am I just could not put the book down,it is brilliant, i now want to find my next.

I really enjoyed reading about Betty’s early life in this instalment of the series.You don’t need to have read the others to enjoy it, but I think it’s worth reading them in order to truly appreciate the characters.Betty certainly didn’t have an easy time of it, but the sense of community and friendship shone throughout this book and I was cheering her on all the way.

I have enjoyed all the Woolworth Girls Books which are all to me five star reads. It was so lovely to read the early life of Betty Billington. It just went on to show how much a survivor Betty was to finally become a manager at the Erith store, Thank you Elaine for another wonderful story. I hope there will be more to come.
