Attachable Grill Temperature Regulator (TTT-03 Kettle)

Was unsure about this when I got it but I use it almost anytime I'm slow cooking with my Weber. Does a good job maintaining the temp.

I got this for my 22" weber master touch based on all of the positive reviews. I pair this with my slow n sear basket to dial in my low n slow cooks. So far I've done ribs a few times and a brisket. It definitely helps hold a steady temp but still takes some playing around with. The clips that come with it aren't ideal for the master touch series because of the plastic heat gaurd on the damper. It makes it hard to get a good seal and also annoying when removing it for cleaning or doing cooks other than low n slow. I found a solution to the problem by getting 2 block style magnets and placing them on the inside of the tip top temp. They hold much better to the lid and make it easier to remove the unit when doing something hot and fast. There's definitely a learning curve to this but I'm sure once I get a few more cooks under my belt, it will be great. One tip that I would give is to make sure that you clean it after each use since it gets quite black after 1 cook and could lead to it getting gunked up quickly causing issues with the flap sticking. I soak it in hot soapy water and scrub it with an sos pad or some steel wool. For the coil, I gently clean it with an old toothbrush. Overall I'm quite happy with the quality and price of the product and it's easy of use. I look forward to using it more! I would recommend getting one.
