Quality product for a cheap price. I have 3 on my boat overhaul and they all work flawlessly. If you have a flush backing you will need a little space for the catch. Otherwise, a great buy.

The media could not be loaded. Bought these to replace my stock dirty white latches. These are better constructed that factory and easy fit and just great...So happy I bought these.

Good latch, easy to install, looks great, holding up well! I really like these latches but there is one problem with all three that I purchased, the roll pins used to stop the handles travel will not stay in the hole that is drilled in their shaft. This allows the handle to rotate 360 instead of stopping after a 1/4 turn...not a feature that really matters to me but if it's part of the design it should work properly. Fix this problem and these latches will be excellent!

Pin that locks the handle from spinning 360-degrees fell out right after install. Latch works for my purposes, so it’s a non issue for me. Solid latch.

I used this item to replace a home Attic Access Door handle that had failed. The previous handle consisted of a plastic “I-bolt” and a flimsy locking lever that at times would fail, and the door would fall open. Just had to enlarge the previous mounting hole, and reposition the striker plate and now the door should stay in place for good.

Heavy duty, however I had to go to the hardware store and get a sleeve to extend the shank as I needed it longer. Still, works great
