BTS’s album, Love Yourself: Her, consists of a total of eleven tracks. Two of which are “hidden” tracks and are only available on a physical album. Looking at the album itself, the songs fit together fairly well. Love Yourself: Her, consist of various types of songs which range from rap, upbeat, or slower tracks. Even though many songs are different, they all convey a similar message that relates back to their Love Yourself campaign. Their campaign is towards stopping violence so children and teens can live safer and happier lives.The album does push the K-Pop genre forward. The album has a higher sale rate than any of their other albums. The Love Yourself: Her also gained international attention because of their collaborations with The Chainsmokers on Best of Me and Steve Aoki and Desiigner on the remix of Mic Drop. These collaborations caught people’s attention and allowed for the K-Pop genre to grow.The feeling that BTS is trying to convey is the idea of loving yourself and enjoying our lives, especially now while we are young. The band is part of an anti-violence campaign known as Love Myself. The idea of loving yourself and enjoying life while we are young is seen across some of the tracks. One of these tracks being Go Go. In Go Go the youth is told, “We’re too young to just worry, for today, just go instead of worrying...”. This is telling us that we are too young to waste time worrying about things, and instead should go out and enjoy life. The youth is reminded that they only have one life and spend so much time worrying over things that do not matter. Mic Drop tells us about ignoring those trying to put us down with the lyric, “You thought I was gonna fail but I’m fine…”. It is important we ignore those who put us down or insult us because if not you will eventually begin to believe them, even if what they say is not true. Another message in the album is heard in the song Pied Piper with the line “Now stop watching and study for your test”. This lyric is telling fans to stop spending so much time on things that do not matter and focus on things that do matter such as school. Throughout the album there is evidence of the positive messages BTS is trying to get across, however the title track “DNA” does not support this idea as much as the others do. While the song does not display a negative message, it does not exactly have a positive one either. It is more of a love song that focuses on the idea of two people being made for each other rather than following through with the focus of the campaign.While I love the album and all the tracks on it, the message behind “Best of Me” is out of place. The song itself is one of my favorites, it discusses a couple who bring out the best in each other. This song is different from the others because instead of trying to get a message across it is telling a story. The story is about a couple going through hardships, and one is begging the other not to leave them because they bring out the best in them and protect them from the stresses of life. The other songs on the album Serendipity, Dimple, and Her also tell interesting stories about a desired partner. The final track that I have not discussed is Sea. This is one of the hidden tracks, and it talks about the hardships BTS went through in the beginning of their careers as musicians. This song is especially important because it reminds us that although the band is internationally famous, they are real people and struggle just as much as we do. While some of these songs do not have much of a message behind them, they are still important to the album because they contribute heartfelt stories about love and hardships.This album is important because of its contributions to the K-Pop genre. Love Yourself: Her brought the attention of many people internationally towards BTS and other Korean artists, allowing them both to grow. The messages and stories behind each song make the album much more meaningful than it seems. Not to mention the incredible vocals or rapping we get from each member. I also love the way each song has a different feel to it. Some being more rap centered like Mic Drop and Her while others are more upbeat like Go Go and DNA. There are also slower songs such as Sea and Pied Piper. The variety of music styles show the band’s talent to not only create different types of music that everyone can enjoy, but also informs listeners about issues or tell a story with every song. I would rate this album five out of five stars because of its contributions to its genre, the variety of music styles, and the amazing vocals heard by each member.

One of the BEST MUSIC lineups from BTS but the advertising is false. Comes with only 1 photo and no poster.I will never give BTS a low rating because the vendor is responsible for the advertising. I ordered a second time and got the same thing.

It's great, love the album, the boys did a good job yet again and never fail too. At first, I thought that it hadn't come with a poster but it was inside the plastic cover with the album. I received the 'L' version, which is okay with me. I was hoping to get 'O' or 'V', but I'm not unhappy with it because it was random. I got RM's, photocard and two others of the whole group together. It didn't come damaged or anything, although the way the poster was folded made little white creases on it, but not that noticeable.This was also my first time buying from this seller, and I was a bit skeptical at first, but I see now that I have made a great choice. 10/10 to K-STAR from me.

I received the "O" version, came sealed with everything in it (Poster, Photobook, CD, Photo card - Jin (Though I really wanted JIMIN), 3 photo cards from the seller (They aren't official and you can tell just by looking at them that they look flimsy and a bit faded). I bought from this seller because of the extra photo cards but they really aren't worth it. If that is why you're buying from here you are better off buying them separately. Next time i will just order the Version I want, from a different seller but over all, it came in excellent condition. Plus, this is one of the best albums that BTS has made.

I'm in love with this! I just received the "Love Yourself: Her" BTS album. I actually came quicker than anticipated. I received version "E" of this album, and i absolutely love it! I got the photo card of Jin with extra photos, one being of Namjoon from the "Wings" era. I am so glad I decided to order from here. If you are contemplating on whether to buy this or not, I suggest you do. It is worth it, and is not a scam. Also, it might be hard getting the creases out of the poster, but it is possible.

This has got to be their most beautiful album, the design is amazing and I particularly love the holographic name of the album and the BTS logo. I got the E version with pizza/laundry party theme which is gorgeous and the quality of the paper is very good! Additionaly, you get Love Yourself stickers that are just lovely!The product arrived in less than a month (I'm from Brazil) and it came well-packed and undamaged, plus I got a set of lovely photocards on the same theme of the album. <3
