Great ice machine for the price. The size of the machine & ice is just right, it’s not noisy, and the easy to clean. Nothing too complicated. So glad I bought this product!

I use this ice maker multiple times a week and it works great. I usually make a batch and then put it in a large freezer safe plastic storage bin for later use - just make sure to stir the ice when putting a new batch in so it doesn't stick together. But it also makes ice quickly (about 6 minutes) so you can make it as needed too. I prefer this option to the ice maker in my freezer because it is easy to clean and portable. It is very easy to use - I got one for my mother in law who has difficulty getting around and she loves it. I highly recommend!

Our fridge ice maker never seems to keep up so I purchased this one to make sure we always have ice. It does put out a lot of ice and it is impressive how quickly it makes it. My only complaint is that the ice is very wet so use a small tray lines with paper towels and dump my ice into that first to dry it before transferring it to the freezer to help prevent it from freezing into a giant clump. I also noticed that if you don’t dump it every couple of hours the ice on the bottom starts to melt so something to keep in mind. The basket that catches the ice and the scoop for it is pretty small so it is hard to scoop it directly from the machine. We use filtered water to refill it and outside if these little things it has worked very well. It is a little loud (sounds like a fan running) but I only notice it when it’s quiet and in the kitchen.

I've had the machine for 4 days now and it's run pretty much constantly. It works as advertised and I'm very much enjoying the ice.Other reviewers have said that it doesn't keep the ice cold enough to stay frozen and that's probably true. I tend to empty it out at night before I go to bed and in the morning. I have a full ice basket, but it's still running. I think what happens is that because there's no real seal between the lid and the machine (it's just plastic on plastic) that the ice does melt eventually (even though there's some kind of cooling fan running constantly too), but it melts into the water reservoir, so the ice just keeps getting made as the basket empties. Which is fine with me.I have taken some out and stored it in a silicone bag in my freezer for when I need to take ice for later in the day at work. It's frozen a bit harder once it's been in the freezer for a while, but it becomes soft again by the time I need it later in the day.My favorite water bottle is a 24 oz tervis water bottle and the ice machine when full makes enough ice to fill my bottle completely.Concerning the noise level, you can hear it and it does take some getting used to, but it's not louder than the refrigerator hum.

We really like this little ice maker! We put this on our bar and we (and the kids) use it constantly. It makes ice really quickly, stops when it’s full, the ice will melt and re-make rather than just sitting there. We only use bottled water so the taste is great. The only downside I have found is that the ice doesn’t stay solid for super long, they are small round pieces that are hollow in the middle. But absolutely perfect for a small drink or during the summer, etc.
