Birkenstock | Arizona | EVA

The fit and feel are amazing. I have worn Birkies in the past with great success. I was worried about the EVA material, initially. To my surprise after trundling around Eugene and Springfield, Oregon for the past couple weeks, I am sold. What I love about these is the same thing I loved about Crocs when I first started wearing them. The weight is non existent and the comfort and fit is off the chart. I actually prefer them to the leather and cork Arizona. I'm not willing to give up my Crocs quite yet. If these Birkies wear as well as I hope, I might just consider it. BTW my son tells me that wearing socks with sandals is okay in Oregon.

I wear them every day. I have flat feet so this is ideal for me.

You cant go wrong ordering a pair of these bad boys. I personally wear these all day everyday. From the time i wake up till the time i go to sleep. And everything in between. Fishing, float trips, cliff jumping. The durability in these things are amazing. You could take these things mudding and just hose em off and they a brand new. Do not hesitate to place your order!!

Not sure why it took me so long to find these...they are great. They have great arch support (the hallmark of birkenstock) and are super light. I wear them a little more tight (and the straps allow adjustments) so when I lift my foot they stay right on my foot sole. I wear them for the gym, gardening and any other use around the house, I wear them outside too - but they are not exactly business casual. I did wear them during replacement of my roof and promptly stepped into a nail - the sole does provide you some warning that something is about to poke through, but it did not prevent the inevitable - no complains, was my own stupidity. The material is a bit shiny and they do squeak like hell when wet from water or sweat, and in the case of water (not sweat) they do loose a bit of their otherwise great anti-slip tread and support. I am on the heavy side and wear them constantly, so they did wear out after about 6-8 months, which is unusually fast for Birkenstock shoes in general. I don't think they would work as beach shoes. Just bought my second pair and I am tempted to try the neon yellow next

As a Birkenstock fan and anything natural I was skeptical my husband would like these. I can’t say enough good things about them. Fit is true to his cork Birks and they can easily be washed in the shower. They are excellent quality. Love them!

Comfortable

I have large, wide feet and these are a great fit. The shoes are plastic but look good. German quality. I have not tried on Birkenstocks in decades and they take some getting used to. The instep is hard and presses into parts of your foot that are tender. If I can wear these I'll get a more expensive pair. I'm hoping to get some relief from foot pain, e.g. metatarsalgia. Meanwhile they provide lots of room and make decent water shoes. I just hope they don't make me eat arugula and drive a Volvo...
