Great little set, over priced
It's a great little set however; a little over-priced. A few special molded pieces are why in my opinion this set is pricy. Great for play and it's easy to build for young people. Other sets can easily fall apart from play but this one is sturdy and it comes with the wonderful Ewok, Wicket. ( frog is not included)

My son(4) and I had a great time with this build. Easy yet challenging for the kid. And the ewok is great for the collection.

Good minifig selection, nice playset, but overpriced
First things first, this is not a collector's model. It is a playset for younger kids, to help them get used to playing with "big kid" Legos. If you are looking for a more detailed model of an AT-ST, the Hoth AT-ST set is going to be more your speed. That said, as an adult collector of Lego myself, I found myself drawn to this set for the minifig selection. This is one of the cheapest sets to feature the redesigned Scout Trooper fig, and I believe one of the only currently available sets to include an Ewok (Wicket, to be precise). Add in the AT-ST driver as a bonus, and your looking at a pretty nice selection of figures for the price.Beyond the figures, however, I came away from the build pleasantly surprised. Like I said, this is no collector's model, but it is a very nice playset with a lot of good features. The AT-ST is stable in a variety of poses (something its larger cousins often struggle with), and the Ewok has a little tree fort and a catapult to fight back. The speeder bike is no-frills, but gets the job done -- for the small number of parts used, I actually find it to be a good rendition of its counterpart from the films. All in all, there is a lot of potential for kids to act out battle scenes from Return of the Jedi, or to make up their own stories.I do have some complaints. The big one is probably price -- at retail with no discount, this set goes for $35. For comparison, the Hoth AT-ST I mentioned earlier in this review goes for $50. I do want to account for the fact that this is much more a playset, and given the larger pieces used the usual price-per-part ratio typically applied to Lego sets doesn't really apply. But even with those considerations, $35 seems steep for this set. I paid $20, which is much more in line with what I would want to see for a set like this.My other two complaints relate to the design of the AT-ST. First, and more importantly, I found it a bit hard to get the AT-ST driver to, well, drive the AT-ST. It's a bit of a tight fit to get him inside, and I had to take his sidearm out of his hand. Not the biggest deal, but considering this is a set intended for younger kids I would have liked it to be a bit easier for them to be able to put the driver in the walker. Second, the side-mounted cannons on either side of the AT-ST head are the same element, the gray "megaphone" piece. In the films, the AT-ST has a grenade launcher on its right "cheek" and smaller laser cannons on the left. It would have been nice if this toy version could have likewise featured different armaments on either side of the head. Again, I don't expect a lot of realism or detail for a playset like this, but I would have liked Lego to use a different element on the left side -- perhaps the binocular element would have been a good fit.All in all, I ended up liking this set more than I expected I would, and it's earned a place on my shelf. Moreover, unlike some of its larger brethren, I can definitely see myself playing with this every so often. The price put me off of buying it for a long time, and I feel like I may have been harsher on it had I paid full price. As such, I do recommend this set, but only at a discount of at least $10.

we love legos
I bought this for my 5.5 year old who has just started legos. He makes them himself and barely needed any help. My only problem with legos is how much they cost for almost a one time thing
