I'm a beginner pen turner. I have been using a variety of media to make my pens. These blanks have provided an attractive pen that is quick to turn and easy to apply finish. I highly recommend these for all level turners.

Makes great pens with vibrant colors!

The blanks are not all exactly the same size - but they do not need to be for pen turning. They seem to be hand-cut from larger blanks, which is fine. Good product at a good price.I marked it down because the packaging made me angry. The internal packaging is new boxes taken from the post office. In my mind, taking these boxes for internal packaging for your business is basically theft. It makes me feel bad about participating in the entire transaction. Buy some boxes for $0.15 each like a proper company.

Fun colors, look great as pens

It is advertised as 3/4 by 3/4 inch I've been making pins for been making cones for 20 years and when you drill these they blow out on the side because they're half inch by half inch it's not a good product out of

Out of box I would say less then half were fun colors and the rest were browns and blacks. A handful of the blew apart while turning.
