Those seem very tough and most likely really hard to cut off once attached to a storage unit or such. The set up was a breeze but the little twist screw on the back to sets the code seems loose to me and if feels like if you don't pay attention and you rattle it during set up, it may mess things up. I was planning on using them to lock a gate but the slider is way too thick for that so I guess I will be using these for something else. The 4 digit combination would make it hard to figure out the code, or at least I hope so 🤞 Remember to write down the combo since you may not be able to break it too easily

Easy to use

At first, I loved these locks - they feel good in your hand; they are robust; the combination is easy to set and the numbers are large enough to read. Received 4 of them in November 2021 but by March 2022, 2 of the 4 had the slide mechanism to break. I didn't force it, I didn't drop it, I was doing what I usually do to lock it and it snapped off in my hand. The slide mechanism is how the lock is opened and closed once the combination has been entered. Without the slide mechanism the locks are useless. Such a shame. Such a great lock, otherwise.

These were easy to change to my prefer combination just by following the instructions on the Amazon product page, though there were no instructions included in my box. They seem very strong and sturdy, and they do move pretty well. Sometimes it takes a little bit of effort to slide in and it doesn't move as smoothly, but usually it slides easily.I ended up not being able to use this for my intended purpose because the curvature and size of the sliding hook piece was just too large for the gun case I wanted to put them on.. that's no fault of this product, but I do hope to find a use for this elsewhere because it's a pretty solid lock.

Review of: **CINCINNO 4 Digit Combination Padlock, Outdoor Combination Disc Lock with 3/8-Inch Shackle, Combo Lock for Sheds, Trailer, Storage Unit, Gate and Fence (2 Pcs)**This pack of two combination locks seems to be pretty decent quality, with a decent heft to each lock and what appears to be a hardened steel locking bolt. The small slider that you use to open or close the bolt seems to be made of plastic, but it seems securely attached. I would have liked for the dials for the code to feel a little better - they are kind off stiff and don't move terribly smoothly, but they do work ok. Setting my own code took about 60 seconds using the included instruction sheet.The thing I like beast about this lock is it would be very difficult to cut due to the way the locking bolt slides across the top of the lock. When it is locking something, it would be pretty tough to get to it to cut using bolt cutters or an angle grinder. I have no idea how the lock would hold up if it were whacked with a hammer, and I'm not going to test this on mine to find out. (Sorry!!).Overall I am pleased with this pair of locks, and am using them to secure a large shipping container used for heavy equipment storage. You can see from my pic that the locks work with the latches nicely and hopefully these hold up through rain and snow.

These were perfect for what I was wanting! Exactly what I needed at an incredible price! These style padlocks are no doubt one of the best and hardest for thieves to break or open and recommend by most! And basically I was wanting to upgrade about 3 locks I have on my property to something a tad more secure as the old ones were just like your standard pad lock that could be snipped or broke right off with ease plus I didn’t want to carry a bunch of keys or memorize random codes anymore! So these were perfect especially since I personally rarely ever see these style of locks with any other opening mechanism besides a standard key! I don’t think ones with a code on the front are common even though they should be! These locks were great and worked perfect. Only slight “downside” I’d say Is that I would almost consider these like a “medium” style lock vs like just the standard key style one you’d buy locally at the store because I was comparing these to a bunch of old key ones I had plus basically all the ones they had at my local hardware store and every single one them were a decent amount larger than these and just felt like heavier. So not really even necessarily meaning these are “weaker” by any means just mainly a tad smaller in size. But this was no issue for me as these weren’t used on anything needing a super super secure system which if that’s what you are looking for id recommend looking at the single bigger ones and be ready to pay x3 this!
