Digimon Adventure Tri.: Determination (Bluray/DVD Combo) [Blu-ray]

Love this. I'm still waiting on part three to come in they delivered them funky. But they didn't send me the sleeve that it comes in. So it looks weird to have all of n a sleeve but one without the sleeve. Still loved the anime series. Now I can't wait to watch the movies once Part 3 comes in the mail tomorrow.

First of all, as an international shipment, my order arrived well on time. Moving to the actual contents of the disk, there were a few visual artifacts here and there, but nothing too bad. The ADR director and the dubbing team have taken quite a few liberties with the original content, but it is overall better than the Saban dub of the series to which it is a direct sequel, and is indeed true to the original Japanese version in many ways. This is the kind of dub we as Digimon fans deserve. Bravo!

A bit slow on the action but it's great to see the Digidestined interact with each other and this movie is full of funny moments and puns that remind me of the humor from the original Adventure. When the battle sequences do happen they will bring out the inner Digimon fan for sure with all the great nostalgia. I can't believe I get to hear the same voice actors and actresses from my childhood. It's amazing!

The second entry into Digimon Adventure Tri is a treat. The dub is good, but there are a few oddities. This includes calling Meicoomon a boy when she is clearly a girl. There are also a couple of other small bits that don't sound natural in English, but they don't do much to hurt the overall experience.

It was a great movie and it gave me a feeling of childhood nostalgia of when I watched this series as a kid when it first came out. Others who love Digimon, I recommend it along with the other movies in the series.

I am a huge fan of Digimon, I started watching it when it first came out.

another solid movie. the bonus material is a nice behind the scenes look. overall a nice solid release. while this comes with a digital code, its only for VHX, i really wish shout factory would give us a VUDU or ultraviolet code.

First of all to clear some questions people might have why the storyline been going slow so far, it is basically these arent movies to begin with. It pretty much an anime series with extended episodes timing. The second part was well done in my opinion. Lots of humor moments, emotional moments and alot more. Part 2 mainly focused on Mimi and joe and their digimon partners also I was excited to see Ken from season 2 with his digimon emperor costume. I still have no clue what his role is in this story but looking foward for part 3. I wasn't really a Mimmi fan in the Orginial series but I really like her character in TRI.
