Great for one-gallon queso fresco
I use this for queso fresco from one gallon of milk. It looks like it would handle a two-gallon cheese. It works great to press out moisture--whey drips out the little holes and the mold has little bump feet to hold it slightly up off the bottom of the dripping container. For a weight I put a jar of water on the center part of the follower (a small peanut butter jar fits). I use cheesecloth as a liner and I flip the block of cheese to smooth out both top and bottom. I just recently got mine but it seems to be made well. A great value in my opinion!

Cheese Press for small cheeses
I was somewhat disappointed in the quality of the product. The holes have a thin layer of plastic over them, covering all or part of the hole. I can take a nail and hammer to them to open them all up, but the whole point of buying this instead of making my own was that it came with holes already in it.

Costs
Ridiculous overpriced. $5 the most.

Nice durable plastic
Worked well to make cheese. Nice durable plastic. Not sure if you can see from the product photos, but the mold has little air holes spaced throughout to allow the cheese to breath and not get too moist.

Perfect for my needs.
I have never tried making cheese and this looked like the easiest way to start. It is simple, well-designed, and made my first effort a success. Now, I am free to experiment with recipes with my Tomme.
