Highly recommendable
These are really worth the $. I have two frogg togg suits. 1 mid level and the other top of the line with suspender top I purchased from a customer for around $160. Although I like the bottoms these are much more comfortable and identical to my mid level toggs for a third of the cost. Side by side they are the same exact bottom as frogg toggs without the name. I’m a truck driver and wear these almost nightly while hooking trailers to keep clothing underneath clean. In past two years I’ve bought probably 20 pairs because I’m not real easy on them and after a few weeks they will rip from wear but they are not designed to hold up on what I put them through. I will continue to purchase. Always have a spare pair in bag on top of ones I use with another backup at the house. If I wore these the way they were intended to be worn I’m sure I could get several years of wear out of them.

Kept me dry in a 12 hour rain
I wore these a few times in sprinkles and they did as well as any other pants I have had. Then I went to a sporting event where I was outside in some serious rain for about 12 hours. These kept me totally dry! I only wish the I had bought the jacket as well. These are not made of normal cloth, but basically a version of Tyvek house wrap. I suppose if it is used to keep moisture out of one's house, it should be applicable for clothes as well.

Waterproof but warm
I farm and walk through tall grass frequently during heavy dew or rainy conditions. I always had a pair of jeans soaked to the hips that hung in the mudroom all day to dry out and in early spring I was sometimes frozen by the time I would get done with morning rounds of the sheep pastures. I've had these pants for over a month and worn them daily and they have worked great to keep me dry in thigh high forage. They are too warm to wear very long on summer days put I only need them while the dew is heavy. I do walk through some light brush and so far they have not torn or punctured. I wouldn't advise pushing through thorny or spiked woody brush in them because the material does not appear to be tear resistant. They are easy on/off with a quick release waist buckle and the legs fit over my Boggs boots easily. These are well worth the money, just a little hot to be worn in very warm weather for long.

Not durable
I got these for the rainy season in SF and they were great initially besides the fact that they were too short for my legs and my socks and bottom pant cuffs would get soaked with water. But after a little over a month, getting on my motorcycle, the crotch area ripped like the perforated part of a personal check you cut—clean cut. Looking at the inside stitching, the pants look useful only for maybe laying down in a puddle and not moving. Also, the seat area of the pant has already been degraded substantially, only by sitting. If you are looking for functional rain pants that will last you more than two months, look elsewhere and save yourself the embarrassment.

Dry but rips easy
It does the job for keeping you dry and the extra layer will help keep you a bit warmer. However the material is super thin and easily ripped so if you plan on doing anything rough or where you may get snagged on something then you'll shred these like I did. I slipped on a thin layer of snow on top of ice and somehow ripped the inner right thigh and left front thigh. I only had them about 2 weeks before they got ruined.

Like Wearing a Polypropylene Car Cover
Worst return policy I have seen.If you are thinking about trying these, forget about returning them. The RETURN SHIPPING is over $13 each pair, and only UPS shipping is accepted. It would cost the price of the pants to return just two pairs.A word about the fabric:It is Polypropylene fiber which is used to make cheap car covers. The fabric is very thick and lightweight, similar to thick Tyvek,or batting used on a quilt. These pants look and fit weird, really weird. These would be great for emergency or crisis pants, because they are basically like wearing a tent or packing your own personal shelter. These take up some room in your pack, but are quite insulating in a downpour, kind of like putting on a blanket or car cover. The zippered pockets are well sewn and sealed enough to keep the weather out.The waist and ankles fit snugly but the body of the pants balloon out.Perhaps the most ballooning pants you will ever wear.So as far as breathability, these are so loose it would take a while to build up moisture. But these are so insulated, they are more like a snow pants...somewhere in between a rain and snow pants.Good performing GTX rain pants are about $150 so I would say these are a good deal, but you get what you pay for.

Would buy again
A great value. Pants are sized a little big, even considering they are meant to fit over pants. I wore them first time in freezing rain/snow while shoveling. Easy to move in. I stayed totally dry. The zippered front pockets ensured my keys wouldn't fall out. The second time I wore them I was out on a three mile walk. For a second layer, easy to move in and comfortable. The zippered/hook and loop cuffs make then easy to get on and off.

WATERPROOF
i LIVE IN FLORIDA and ride a cart when playing golf in the rain. Any pants i ever bought just were not great the friction on the cart seat always pushed to water through the fabric. Well these pants work fine. Cut the legs down to make them shorts.
