Review: Love this book - So far, I absolutely love this book on unit one about prehistory and my 11-year-old and I have already mastered the meso American culture. Great supplement for HomeSchoolers!
Great value, especially onSale!!..fits into curricculum requirements/guideline. What I really like is that it almost reads like a graphic novel, and is quite colorful and illustrated! My student actually looks forward to his assignments in this book, and often comments that his work was 'very interesting'. I love that there are questions at the end of each section to test knowledge and retention. I dislike that the answer keys are often on the back of some of the question pages..you have to remove that page and observe the student working on the last few answers..that is, unless you trust they won't be looking for 'references' in the answer key.

Perfect for homeschooling
My 14 year old uses this as supplemental learning with his homeschool history curriculum. It has so much info and the quizzes every few pages help solidify learning.

It makes American history fun
Organized in the standard "periods" you'd find in a traditional textbook but this book presents the information in short, easy-to-digest bits of historical facts. This 'notebook" approach presents historical 'stuff' in a fun and manageable way. Best for someone who are not especially interested in plowing through a traditional text. Enjoy!

Colorful and engaging—perfect for 7th grade
Love this book for 7th grade U.S. History! It’s colorful, organized, and easy to follow, which makes a big difference for keeping my student interested. My 7th grader is actually intrigued by the way it’s laid out and doesn’t find it boring like a traditional textbook. It feels more like a fun study guide than a chore. Great resource for homeschooling or extra practice at home.

This book is a great starting point if you are 'lacking' in US history
I got this as a present for my middle school age granddaughter when she was in elementary school. I am an adjunct history professor at a local community college, and she loves to quiz me on US history, and I absolutely love that. She has read it from cover to cover multiple times, and her 101 average in middle school history is proof enough that this book was worth the price. I would recommend to anyone who wants a better understanding of our nation's history, buy a copy and read it. Don't be put off by the 'middle school' reference. You will learn the history of this nation, and you might even be inspired to do a deeper dive on topics that you find interesting.

Nos gusta, es resumido y con la versión americana de la historia sobre la época del descubrimiento… pero es lo que se ofrece
