LANG - 2018 Wall Calendar -"LANG Folk Art", Artwork by Mary Singleton - 12 Month - Open 13 3/8" X 24"

I have admired Lina Nelson Stock's paintings for years. Every year I look at calendars and every year, I end up buying one of hers. Despite the fact that I've seen most of the pictures before, I still enjoy them once again. I also buy one for my daughter who is now married. She, too, has always loved Stocks' Folk Art. My personal reason for seeking her art out is that she always knew when to stop adding objects to her paintings. She instinctively knew when she had put just enough scenes into her painting and not to make it too busy.Another thing I like about her Lang calendars is that they leave me plenty of room to write things into each day's square. I write large and need lots of room. My daughter has a calendar hanger and uses another one she keeps in a drawer to keep track of her busy family's appointments so that her Linda Nelson Stocks calendar is clear and people can enjoy her artwork.The calendars for both of us were well-packaged and arrived with no wrinkled pages, and arrive exactly on time.Note: About 25 yearsa ago, we were in a Lang outlet and my husband wanted to buy me one of my favorite artworks of Linda Nelson Stocks. It was an original painting, signed and numbered, and beautifully framed. I said we shouldn't really spend the money. I wish I hadn't been so practical! :)

Just received this calendar today. I am very pleased. The paper quality is excellent and the pages have reinforced holes for hanging. The pictures are what I expected, with good color quality. High quality overall, especially for the price I paid. With regard to previous reviews, my June picture does NOT have pumpkins in the wagon. Mine look like white grain sacks. They must have fixed the issue or had a subset of calendars that were different. I haven't had a Lang calendar in many years, so it is difficult for me to recall If the quality was better in the past. But I can say that I find this calendar to be of higher quality than others I've bought in the past years, many of which I spent more money for. Very happy with this purchase.

For several years I have purchased this calendar by Linda Nelson ... hanging it in my anteroom entrance to my home. The artwork is stunning, breathtaking and absolutely beautiful. The linen pages are so lovely ... Ms. Linda Nelson S. is truly an incredible artist ... her calendars are at the highest level. As I am retired and unemployed, and on a budget, I do have to wait to purchase this beautiful calendar after the New Year when Amazon kindly offers it on sale. Thank you.

Super pleased! Heavy weight paper. Grommet is REALLY great for hanging without tears, month after month. Colors rich & true. Cool art work. Good size squares for making notes of events to come. Yes, I use my phone - but it’s good to go old school as well. Very nice calendar - I will look for next year’s for my home & office in this calendar line.

I liked the size, the art, and the calendar as a whole. I by 2 every year for my Christmas gift and one for my mom who is deceased as she loved them. My sister lives in my mom's house and she hangs it on the kitchen wall at her house in remembrance of our wonderful mother who has been gone since 2013. It is a joy to provide this for her wall.

I love, love Lang calendars. The paper is heavy and hangs well. The little brass grommet (?) on the cover page goes a long way to keeping the pages from ripping off the hook. I haven't bought any calendar besides Langs for the last five years. And so far, there have been art styles that fit my mood "for the year."

This product meets and exceeds its description. Heavy duty paper, vibrant colors, metal grommet on cover page to prevent tearing, and so on. I am thrilled with how beautiful the calendar is and am very pleased with the quality of the construction. This calendar would easy sell for close to $20 in a store, so it is also smart buy!

My wife had a Hallmark Card & Gift shop for may years. And she sold Lang Calendars & Frames. When she sold the shop, the new owners dropped the Lang line. I found this on Amazon (of course). She now has it hanging our sunroom, in the frame, after couple years in storage. Top quality artwork & many designs.
