Great kit downfall no instructions

Returned for a refund after the pin and box pieces didn’t fit each other so we’re absolutely useless. I bought this set specifically for the black ones and I only received one set of black ones which were too big for the zip I was mending. Had to make do with a silver one which the pin was too big for so I had to use pliers to squash it smaller just to make do. I’m going to have to remove them and order ones that actually work.The ‘pliers’ it gives you are actually cutters too so don’t use them to pinch the metal it will cut it.

Simple repair kit, no instructions needed.

The only good thing about the kit are the tools that are of average quality. The rest of the bits are poor quality and are not worth it.

I haven't used this yet I bought it for emergency use. I am forever replacing zip sliders on band speaker covers so I'm pretty good at zip repairs. The pieces seem to be a similar weight and quality to the originals, so I am optimistic about their usage. Pliers appear to be ground-down end cutters that appear to match the zips I sizes them up against.

L idée de réparer sa tirette est très bonne surtout une tirette de manteau qui peut coûter cher à l achat mais ce n'est pas facile à faire

Das Metallteil zum Einfädeln war abgefallen. Der Stoff am Reißverschluss entsprechend ausgefranst. Einfädeln nicht möglich. Lösung: 1.) Lose Fäden VORSICHTIG abschneiden oder mit Feuerzeug schmelzen - möglichst wenig entfernen, 2.) etwas Sekunden Kleber und dann eines der Ersatzteile eine Nummer größer mit Zange an quetschen. 3.) Nach etwa 2 Minuten das zu grosse Teil wieder entfernen. Dazu mit Zange HINTEN fasse und nach vorne abziehen. 4.) Jetzt ist das Ende des Stoffs durch Kleber glatt und man kann das passende Teil relativ leicht draufschieben. Mit Zange festquetschen. Ich habe eine eigene Wasserpumpen Zange verwendet da man damit viel mehr Kraft hat. Fazit: für acht Euro teure Lederjacke gerettet. Neuen Reissverschluss reinnaehen hatte sicher mehr als 60 EUR gekostet (Mottorad Jacke).

Die Zange ist nicht griffig. Mit der Teilemuss man vorsichtig sein. Gehen leicht kaputt.
