Impressive enough to scare and irritate my wife
While the SWA- W700 is no Bose, it is not far from being equally as impressive as the legendary Bose. I purchased the SWA-W700 for just under $300 brand new and paired it with my HW-MS650 Soundbar and the sound bass combination was impressive especially when I was playing music through my Iphone Xs and while gaming on my Xbox One X. The Base was not window shattering but was powerful enough to shake one my model cars from off the the shelf. It has a deep bass even before I turn it all the way up which irritated my wife upstairs in our house. The design of this product is flawless, it is elegantly designed and is quite an impressive sub woofer. The only down side is that the unit is heavier than it looks, almost 40 pounds. But the unit is made out of high quality material so I don’t really care about the weight. This unit is worth the money and is almost as good as Bose. If you aren’t trying to spend almost $800 for a Bose Subwoofer, then you cannot go wrong with this unit. I am pleased so far.

Makes everything better.
I purchased the MS-650 soundbar along with the satellite rear speakers about a month ago. I waited until I could find this subwoofer unit at a discount because the msrp of 499.00 is really a little above my budget for just one speaker. Having said that I would absolutely recommend this unit. It was easy to pair with my existing set up and brought a much needed depth to the sound. I have an open floor plan home, so the soundbar bass just wasn’t cutting it. After pairing and tuning into an action flick it brought the whole system alive. The subwoofer allowed the soundbar to focus on what it does best (mids and highs) bringing a better balance to the room. Really enjoying this complete system.

Pricey, but sounds amazing.
I'm going touch on two things. Pairing it with the 650 soundbar, and the sub itself.THE SUB.It sounds great. I couldn't be more pleased. It's got power, clarity, and really brings out those low tones in powerful pieces of music or the explosions in movies. It took me a few tries to get the wireless to connect to the soundbar, but once it was connected it was fabulous. I was able to snag this on sale and I have ZERO regrets. I'm not so sure about it's original list price though.Paired with the Soundbar. In various way I think this is the more important part of this review. The 650 bar sounds great on it's own, I used it that way for a good 6 weeks and it was wonderful. But man, wow. You pair this sub up with the bar and it's a whole new world of sound. It frees up the sound bar from those low tones and really lets the soundbar shine in the main registers. The two work great together, and it just sounds incredible. My neighbors might get tired of me, BUT IT SOUNDS FANTASTIC!!

SAMSUNG NEEDS TO RESOLVE THE PAIRING ISSUE OTHERWISE AMAZON NEEDS TO STOP SELLING THIS GARBAGE
Has anyone resolved the pairing issue yet. I bought it 7 days prior to party I was hosting. It worked for the first six days but on the day of the party it DID NOT PAIR at all the whole day and got so furious and ashamed as it was just sitting like a piece of junk in the corner with a solid red light. The next day I literally spent 3-4 hrs in resetting and repairing & it finally paired for the whole day. The day after that, again RED light. I don't know what to do with this sub. I have just 5 days left to return it to AMAZON . It is awesome when it works but truly a nightmare when it doesn't. I do not want to return it but I am afraid, If there is no support from AMAZON/ SAMSUNG I will return it for sure.

Better now that I updated the firmware
Set this up with a Samsung MS650 soundbar. Subwoofer and soundbar combo are just okay. I wanted to be delighted, but the bass just comes across as very subtle. Don't get me wrong, it's an attractive box and the wireless setup was easy and is working well, it's just that I expected more bass for the soundbar volume levels that we listen to.UPDATE-6/2018 (reduced to two stars)From time to time, I've noticed that the wireless subwoofer will cut out when I attempt to play the soundbar at higher volume. The subwoofer "motorboats" (continuous, low frequency "put"-"put"-"put") and then just disconnects. The subwoofer then shows a continuous flashing blue led light in the center of the base. I thought that perhaps this was due to proximity to the soundbar. So I moved the subwoofer to directly underneath the soundbar and without obstruction. Same problem. I will try updating the firmware next, but if this continues, I will contact Samsung for warranty work. Disappointed by this. Seems like the wireless subwoofer should just work. Plug it in, pair it to the Samsung soundbar, and it should just work. Shouldn't have to worry about distance from the soundbar when in the same room. Shouldn't have to worry about a firmware update.UPDATE June 2018 -- Updated the firmware through Samsung Multiroom app and WiFi setting on the soudbar. This appears to have worked to stop the "motorboating" subwoofer. The Samsung Soundbar and Subwoofer sound good together. Back to 4 stars.

Awesome Sub!
Speaker was the perfect addition to my entertainment center. I currently have the Samsung 65" MU8500 and the MS-650 sound+ soundbar with the rear surround speakers. The equipment works together flawlessly and the sound is amazing. I am extremely pleased with the price, and if you have a sound+ soundbar this subwoofer is exactly what you need to get that deep rattling bass we are all looking for. Just make sure your unit is compatible because there is no port to wire this speaker it only works wirelessly.

Great Subwoofer!!!
Samsung SWA-700 Subwoofer performs as advertised. Has great bass sound for being just a 25 Watt speaker. Augments my sound-bar well. Sound-bar already has built in bass, just doesn't produce the deep bass sound as the Sub does. So it performs as I need it to. Very easy and simple setup, just as the manual instructs/states. If you're looking for mind blowing bass or awe inspiring bass you may want to look at another subwoofer. If you're looking for an enhanced deep bass sound, where you know your watching an action filled movie or listening to your favorite music this 10 inch subwoofer will work for you.
