Ok.... so I needed new filters and went down the street to the national chain store. They told me they needed to special order them, that it would take a week and cost over $600. Then they tried to sell me a new DE filter instead. Something told me I needed to check with our friends at Amazon. A quick check and I found this 4 pack. The price seemed way too good to be true. Skeptically, I decided to buy them (prime) knowing that if they were not right, the mighty Amazon would take them back without any issue. Well, no need. These filters were at my door in two days (not a week as the pool store said) and they worked perfectly. My pool is crystal clear for less than a third of what those clowns tried to take me for. I now buy all my chemicals on Amazon as a result of this experience!!!** Verify the model numbers. If these are the right replacement, you will not be disappointed!!!**

We've been using these filters for the past month with no issues. The construction is lighter weight that the OEM version which should be nice when cleaning them. The filters also have substantially more surface area than the OEM filters which supposedly makes the pool cleaning more efficient. They're definitely doing a better job than the ten year old filters they replace. That said its tough to do an apples to apples comparison based on the age of the OEM filters. Either way I'd buy them again and they are significantly cheaper than the OEM parts.Note that the filters are a snug fit in our Pentair unit. it took a bit more than the usual finagling to get the cover back on. On the positive side I tightened the filter housing more than normal and the ancient pump primed much faster than usual. I guess I was under-tightening before!

These 4 larger cartridges replaced 8 smaller ones I had in my filter housing. Less cartridges to clean and going to save me lots of time. Also was about $117 cheaper for the 4 compared to my local pool store for same product. My cartridges were old, the molding was cracking and they were hard to clean. Took almost 2 hours to clean with 8 of them. Now I save time with only 4 to clean and the new cartridges work great, my pool is crystal clear.

I order my own pool filter cartridges and have a pool service install them. The cartridges are easy to install; securing the top of the filter unit to the bottom is difficult. The “belt” that tightens around the middle is heavy and required two of us to hold it in place while tightening it. The cartridges work fine.

They don't seem as tough as the original brand name, but they fit well and I've cleaned them. Seem to work just fine.

My filters were 5 years old and I hosed them off 4 times a year. I didn't realized how clogged they had become until I replaced them with the new ones. Water flow increased at least 100%. I have a little fountain attached to one of my pool return lines and a variable speed pump. With the pump at 1250 rpm, the fountain would shoot about 6" into the pool. At 3000 rpm it would shoot about 3 feet. After changing the filters out, at 1250 rpm, the fountain shoots about 3 feet and at 3000 rpm, over 10 feet.Expensive but totally worth it.

I wanted to write a review after TWO years. Just cleaned these for the first time after installed two years ago...they were brown as pictured by others... but cleaned to a perfect brand new white! (do yourself a favor and purchase one of those curved hose attachments for filter cleaning, it really helps). Equally important to me, the straps holding these together appeared firmly in place and not dissolving or fraying. These definitely are good quality.

These filter were a perfect replacement fit for my Pentair CCP 550, and the flow is better than I ever had with the original filters. The water is crystal clear and power usage has been reduced. I can’t speak to longevity yet, but I’m very happy so far!

I used this to replace original Pentair cartridges in a salt water pool. The construction (materials used) seems sturdier than the original. It works as well as the Pentair as far as I can tell. The filter fabric is easier to clean than the Pentair material. I am happy with the product.

The four filters can opened and three were water damaged. The repackaging indicated that it was inspected by amazon. I had no choice but to use the filters as my old ones were done. But I am not impressed with amazon
