This was a perfect Christmas gift for my 7 year old grandson! I am 70 and have been a rockhound since I was 5. It evolved into me becoming a lapidarist cutting and polishing gemstones. I am still a rockhound and enjoy this activity with my grandson, son, daughter-in-law and fiancé. The tools are very good quality, including a jeweler’s loupe, that is as good as the one I use to assess gemstones. My grandson was thrilled and immediately put it to good use, with his parents, on the first nice Winter’s day.

I loved the variety of the tools and the quality.

I ordered 2 of these kits. One for me and one for a friend since we go geode hunting a lot. It is a good quality bag, and the tools seem to be holding up so far. I did add a larger water bottle to mine and some cleaning rags.

Haven't used it yet, but like the feel of chisels and hammer. Good price, got here fast.

This kit is heavy duty and does have some hefty weight to it. I would sort through the bag to determine what you need and leave the rest in your car while you go exploring.

Love the pick-hammer, very sturdy. So are the chisels.

Love love love. Only critique I can make is I wish the bag would be in backpack form.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter. Shipped quickly and is just as described. My daughter drags this rock kit everywhere. She loves it and it has stood up to the abuse (use) that my daughter throws at it. Great for beginning rock hounds.
