So at first when I got it opened it feels really lightweight and cheap and I tried to plug it in to my phone and then the Pico projector and it did not work. I thought it was the HDMI cable so I was like whatever I’ll just get a new one that’s more expensive. Days later I was like let me check and see what the product details say on amazon, so I checked and it says that it also needs a power source for it to work. I’m like what really so I connected it all and adds the power and bam it works!!! I can now watch tv or movies from my iPhone to the projector at a 60+ screen and the quality of pretty good I mean the Pico projector does what it need to but that a different review. Hope this helps for all the people that says it does not work.

This thing is a piece of junk and I would not recommend anyone buy it. It does not work as stated by the seller. Yes it will display your decices screen but only with static images. Forget displaying any video. It will show a message stating "video will display when your network connection improves." It changes the clock on the device to a static time, never correct and never changing. The designer of this product is an idiot and the seller dishonest. Dont make this jerk richer with your money.

I first connected it without having the charger port connected, so I thought that was the problem. I retrived the Lightning charger connected it as the drawing showed on the instructions that came with the unit. Did not want to project my iPhone7, I connected my iPad 4th. gen. with it, that didn't work I then connected my wifes' new iPad and it wouldn't project either. Tired of messing with it. sent it back.

It kind of does the job. Sometimes a weird interface menu pops up on screen that there is no way to interact with. It also lags. A better solution is to just use a Lightning cable with your iPad to Mac and use the television as a 2nd monitor (you have to use Quick time to display what's on the iPad).

This is item was perfect. I needed some entertainment on my job. I purchased a tv and my workplace didn’t have WiFi so I purchased this item to stream to from my phone. If there’s any type of draw back it would be that it doesn’t support Netflix or any paid subscription service, but that’s stars in the description when you buy it. It does support YouTube and I found an app that is did support to stream.

I wish there was a way to state an item has zero stars. This device is totally annoying!!!! The charger has to be connected for it to work and even when it is connected, the adaptor still doesn’t work!!!! Then when I finally got something to show, the screen ( not my ipad’s screen, but the screen showing through the projector) freezes. This, I still don’t understand. Terrible purchase! 😡. Was looking for the real thing, but only found imitations. I should have just bought it from Best Buy.

I made the mistake of purchasing this adapter and it'll only work half the time if I'm lucky. It keeps connecting then quickly shutting off. Very frustrating
