Have always used nylabone but this one was a disappointment as barely lasted 10 days before pieces stared to come off and dog sick from it so straight in the bin.

My dog loves Nylabone toys, this one is a bit heavy for him to play with but still happy to chew on it. The peanut butter one is his fav. Recommended to lots of friends with dogs.

Smelt really rubbery. Didn’t play with it at all.

My mom's dog is super picky, this is the only type of toy he will chew on. We found one originally on markdown at the grocery store and it lasted him about 15 months before he finally ripped a chunk off of it. So I looked and looked until I found this exact same bone. He was ecstatic to say the least. It's pretty sturdy, a good weight for throwing, too. Be careful it can be a trip hazard on carpet, with the grip pattern on it, it stays in place pretty well. My mom keeps up on the coffee table when he's not playing with it.

My dog liked this for a few days, but now he barely plays with it or chews on it. He prefers harder materials to gnaw on (another Nylabone product), or a rope toy for tugging and fetching. A good product, nice medium-softness rubber, and great to toss around, albeit fairly big/heavy for my 8.5lb Maltepoo puppy. He may like it when he gets a little bigger, so we'll see. I only took a star off due to my dog losing interest within the first week and going back to his other toys, but don't let this deter you. Like most Nylabone products, it's a good product. Your dog just may not be into it. Probably not recommended for a seriously strong chewer as I could see a bigger dog tearing this up or chewing pieces off.

I purchased this bone and received it on Tuesday of this week. It’s now Friday and, tonight, as my dog chewed on it, I noticed a pile of red under her paw. The entire bone was crumbling apart! Definitely not strong and sturdy as advertised and no option to return. I don’t recommend this at all!

I have three large dogs ranging from 120lbs down to 58lbs. The biggest is a toy tester, he destroys toys like its his job. These bones are the best! All three like them, they have lasted longer then most toys we own. When the first ones started breaking down, I bought four more to replace them. Yes they can naw the pieces off, when I notice they are starting to get to that point, i trim the piece off. I have never had any problems with the pieces being ingested. We had them longer than 6mos before they were starting to show damage! Highly highly recommend for heavy chewers!

This is our second of these bones. My dog is a Pyrenees/lab mix, boy does he CHEW! Our first one just was thrown away, it started to have signs of wear. Nothing had come off, there were some cracks and obviouse teeth marks. Just to be safe I replaced it. The first one lasted 7 months. I purchased it when he was 8 1/2 weeks old. The material is similar to a kong. Very satisfied with this bone. I will continue ordering them as needed.
