Great for the price. Very easy to use and comes with 2 years of updates. Seems to work on a large group of vehicles. Longer wait times for some features but it always gets the job done.

Great bi-directional scanner! Overall it's great to use. Easy layout and functions and does everything a dealer scanner can do. The build quality is much better than I expected. Although it's thin, it's very solid build. Battery life is great, I can use it all day with the battery still being full. Used on a Porsche Macan, I can deactivate the rear brakes to change the pads. Tested on multiple other vehicles and it can back off all brake pads across different makes. The VCI is very well constructed. Also has a built in light, where you can use to see the OBD connection. There's always updates, software improvements all the time. Report layout and pdf download is very easy to read and convenient.

This item is fantastic if you are comfortable working on your own car. I needed this for resetting the oil change sensor for my porsche macan. With the cost of a single oil change at a porsche dealer, this unit paid for itself in less than a year with my driving routing. My local oil change place doesn't have the ability to do these resets. After 2 years, this unit will require an annual subscription payments, so that's something to consider if your going to get one. I am amazed (but not surprised) with all the different functions and features that newer cars are able to track. I am easily able to reset the oil notification, and this does a great job if you need to check for anything to do with the engine MIL components if you live in an area that requires emissions. This unit's battery life is pretty good, but has that slow drain that all the little tablets have. The screen is smaller but I prefer that over a massive tablet, and its still really easy to read the screen and track the graphics. I do like this Blue Tooth over the old wired models of these that I had, where you needed a laptop with a serial port (or a usb to serial adaptor). Overall, if you are handy and don't mind a little research, I think this is a great unit. One point of note... the updates are large and can take a minute, so if you don't use this often, be ready to dedicate an hour to updates for all of the various models and features. For single car updates, I think it lands at about 5 to 10 minutes.

This is crap. I bought this in August and it stopped working or taking a charge. I really thought that this was gonna be a good one. I have reached out to the company and no response and of course it’s outside of being able to return it. For the money that we pay for these things it should last alot longer than 4-5 months. Save yourself the headache and don’t buy this item and while autel has upset me in the past with their annual update crap, i will go back to using their products for sure. They had the opportunity to fix the issue but with no reply they get my worst review ive ever done which if i can save this with no stars i will be. Ok so i have to give it one star in order to post this. UPDATE: After having issues as I stated above, the company did reach out to me and I became aware of a delay in their response due to how the messages gets funneled in their system. Anyhow, they asked me to try a couple things to resolve the issue in which I replied that I had already tried. They asked for a couple of pics and a short video. After I sent them these requested items they then sent a paid postage to send the scan tool back with intentions to replace it with a new one and they did because just received it yesterday. Now I can’t speak on if this one will be any different and last any longer which is why I updated my one star to only a four star and not a five star. I can only hope for the best that it last longer. It is a great scan tool when it’s working. Fingers crossed.

Really good for the price. The OTOFIX D1 Lite 2026 is easy to use, connects fast, and does everything I need (codes, live data, etc.). Works smooth and feels solid. Great for DIY or small jobs. 👍

This scan tool is very user friendly, and has everything you will need to quickly diagnose a vehicle. Not long ago, this same style scanner would have cost thousands of dollars. This scanner is lightweight, touch screen, Bluetooth, WiFi updated, and even has a carry case. The processing speed of the tablet is good, and I feel is adequate for its size. I am satisfied with the diagnostics tools for battery reset, Brake Bleeding, and other normal service procedures. This tool is perfect for the DIY mechanic, or intermediate level technicians. The next step from here in my opinion is a very expensive thousand dollar scanner. Great product.

The Otofix D1 lite is a working example of Moore's Law (which for those unfamiliar basically states that our computers will get better and faster while costing less and less). I had been out of the scanner market for a few years when I recently was introduced to the world of Android tablet-based scanners. To say that I am impressed would be to put it mildly. For a moderate investment of under $400 the D1 Lite will probably allow the user to repair 90+ percent of problems that occur on vehicles built in the last 20+ years. Considering that the first scan tool I bought used probably 25 years ago cost me $500 really puts the value of the D1 Lite into perspective, especially considering that that $500 was really almost $1,000 in today's dollars. So, in equal dollar terms, the D1 Lite cost me well less than half of the scanner I bought 25 years ago, but it is lighter, faster, covers many times more vehicles, and has many times the capabilities. In today's inflationary world, not many things that we buy seem like a great deal. The Otofix D1 lite is an incredible exception. The what-you-get-for-what-you-pay ratio is so off the charts it is (almost) too good to be true, but I can attest, after putting the D1 Lite through it's paces, that it is indeed true! P.S. The flashlight built into the dongle for locating the DLC is simply genius!

It works, but the biggest issue I have with it is that is extremely slow. So many pointless steps just to get to scanning the vehicle. It can literally take 10 minutes to just even get to the scanning vehicle part and then that can take an additional 10 minutes. its just too slow. I would look for something that has a better cpu and more ram.

Good scanner glad I chose this, it works well, has a lot of functions and covers a large number of manufacturers and models. It connects with the blue-tooth dongle easily, gets lots of regular updates over wifi. it automatically recognises the VIN and the car model, you can read codes for one area or scan all modules, normally there will be more than one error code when something fails (as sensors often feed multiple systems) but it will typically indicate the source of the issue e.g. "rear left wheel sensor". You can reset the codes after fixing, often codes latch when a fault occurs so need a tool to reset. The only slight downside is that there are very few on-line training videos for the tool, so sometimes when you are doing something for the first time you are offered a choice by the scanner that you are not sure how to proceed or what a choice means, but often the scanner will lead you through the steps.

Menu est en Français après un changement dans les paramètres, j’ai aimé le prix avec vci sans fil qui est de très bonne qualité avec en plus le menu Autel qui est très bien. J’ai réussi à remettre en route mon système Adblue avec reset apprentissage remplissage parfait.

Très bon produit, très bon rapport qualité prix. La fonction bluetooth est très pratique pour faire les tests mais aussi la lumière sur le connecteur que je trouve une idée de génie. Je recommande très fortement.
