I had previously purchased a NATO style watch strap for my Timex easy reader from one of the brands on Amazon for $20 plus tax. Maybe it was just the style of the strap, but I couldn't get used to it. Frustrated, I was looking for a more traditional watch strap when I stumbled across this one. I literally paid half of what I did for the NATO strap and have received a much better product. This strap may seem a bit dated in terms of design, especially that of its buckle. Still, for the price I don't think you would find anything better.

This is a good quality watch strap. The leather is substantial and well padded. Much more 'real' feeling than other cheap straps on Amazon. The Tan strap will quickly soften with a few days of use. Also, real leather will absorb natural oils from your skin which causes it to shift to a deeper, richer tone over time. The result is a handsome and authentic look. BUT be aware that the length of the 'regular' strap may be longer than you are used to. The 'short' version of these straps have actually worked much better for me. The quality of those are equally good. (My wrists are a little under 7 inches).

I was really happy with this band. It's hard to tell from the photos, but it has a beautiful warm brown color and a nice sheen - not super shiny and not flat. Very classic and classy look with my brass bodied dress watch. The quality is apparent in the stitching. All the seams are stitch neatly. Cheaper band I've had were glued together and did not last. This is a real compliment to my watch. I bought the Long which was a bit longer than expected but looks right on my wrist.

My spouse is a large man. This band fits like it was made for him. He says the band looks great and is comfortable to wear.

This band is thinner then I would like it has the appearance of a woman's watch band. It installed easily on the watch and so far has been fine, but I would not buy it again.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I bought this strap to fix my grandpa's old watch and it was great! It's a true 17mm width. The quality leather looks nice and is true to the picture color. It is stiff when first out of the box but quickly forms to the wrist.

Great watch band. Alot better than some Italian bands that I've had.

I thought it was extra long in the description but the band is normal length. Otherwise is excellent.
