Best purchase for cat ever
I have more than one cat (well on my way to being crazy cat person), but only one of my cats insists on drinking "running" water. He'll jump on a sink counter and beg to have the water turn on until he just wears you down and you turn it on. He only asks a few times a day, but it can get old.Enter the AquaPurr 4! Now he can serve himself whenever he wants. I installed our AquaPurr 4 in the bathroom and plumbed it into the toilet water supply line - which is just one of the various choices of installation this product offers. I had no trouble at all installing it, as it's just a matter of unscrewing the current supply line, installing the AquaPurr 4 valve, then re-installing the supply line to the AquaPurr 4 valve. Took just a couple of minutes. The "head" of the unit comes off so you can point the sensor and the spout in whatever directions you need them to point. If you have any problems at all, the owner of the company has included his phone number so you can contact him directly!Very seldom will you see a product that is so well thought out and it is accompanied by such a thorough installation and troubleshooting guide. It took my cat only a few days to get used to using it, but it will probably take your cat less time, as my guy isn't the sharpest tool in the shed (I love him to death, but he's just no Einstein).I cannot say enough good things about this product.

Infinite Water
I had trouble getting my kitty to drink water from a bowl or fountain, he'd only drink from a faucet.Well I couldn't be there to turn on the water everytime he wanted to drink so I purchased an AquaPurr. It works fantastic! You & your kitty won't be disappointed.

Yes it works but...
is that it's loud when it clicks on and spooks both the cats.I have tried treats and other sorts of motivation to get them up there, I have also tried closing and opening the faucet to see if that has any impact but it didn't..Not sure what else to do but it's been over a month and they're still not drinking from it.Not seeing the value for money yet but remain hopeful that it'll get adopted as the fresh water source..Easy to install

Love this fountain!
We didn't have room on the sink so we built a little shelf next to it. The cats love it. I don't think they use their water bowls anymore. It doesn't need cleaning! Great customer service from the seller too.

Amazing Cat Must Have!
My cat was in love with this in under a minute! Some of the best install directions I have ever seen. Makes is super easy to setup! Gone are the slimy pink water bowls. Thank you Steven! All the best.

someone needs to invent…oh! Someone did!
This is a GREAT product! Our cats are water cats so they not only like to drink from it, but they also like to bathe in it. But that’s ok. At least they have stopped sitting in the kitchen sink demanding that someone turn on the water for them. Seriously, the only easily solved problem is that it doesn’t come with enough 3m command strips. You will need to cover the entire bottom of the unit with command strip Velcro to keep your happy, playful cats from loving this thing off onto the floor or into the sink.

Great product, could use some improvements
As a maker myself, I wanted to create something like this but just don't have the time. I thought it was great that someone else did the same and is making money off of their invention so I'll support that any time I can.I'm going to list a few things I think could be improved but I still think this is a worthy investment, it beats having to hear my cat meowing from the other room waiting for me to instantly drop what I'm doing to turn the water on trickle, then remember to turn it off. Here are the few things I think could be improved.* When the power goes out, the solenoid allows water to flow. I feel like a different device could have better controlled the water flow so it doesn't disengage when losing power. Maybe a peristaltic pump? One could likely be manufactured fairly inexpensively (there aren't many affordable off-the-shelf options on the market).* The sensor; it does NOT like to pick up my cat. My guess is just that he's a darker cat and fairly fluffy. If this is an IR sensor then it's likely he's just not reflecting enough to set off the trigger. He needs to be within 6" of the sensor which (I'll be honest) was difficult to get him to do but he seems to be having success as of late. When I stand in front of the sensor, it goes off if I'm anywhere within 12". I thought maybe it was a height thing, as the sensor is technically pointing at his legs since it's sitting on the counter. I set it on a box and he more regularly sets it off now but still has to be extremely close.* The tubing is very stiff and would be much better if it were more flexible. It's difficult to orient the sensor because the tube wants to keep moving it due to its rigidity.

My cats love it
Cats have really taken to it and drinking great from the the unit. Still trying to find the best spot for it because the auto-on range is limited to about 6 or 8 inches. It's a good range because you don't want it coming on every time you walk by but a bit difficult for our cats to find the perfect angle to keep it running while drinking due to our small vanity size. Not a reflection of the unit at all. It works as promised. Just something to keep in mind if you have the similar set up. Just keep trying until you find the happy medium.
