We had been looking around for a 12x12 rug for a while so we decided to give Amazon a shot. We are so glad we did. This rug is beautiful. It came in a box but after lying it on the floor all the creases came out. It matches the decor perfectly and is beautiful. It was very heavy and took a while to get it exactly the way we wanted it. But all in all a great purchase and if I need another 12x12 rug I will shop this seller.

Color was true to what I expected. Is wearing well. Size is perfect! Lays flat. Texture is perfect for my kitchen

I like the rug, but it is a little on the thin side. The only other complaint is that it came folded not rolled so there are creases in the rug that take a while to go away.

So... I am an avid Amazon customer, and I usually know the quality of what I am going to get. Sometimes I choose to purchase lower quality because that's the type of product I need for the situation. If I need top quality, I know how to find it and I pay an appropriately higher priced item. In this case, I knew I wasn't buying a top quality rug. I was okay with that. I read the reviews and even the less positive reviews described what I needed-- a thinner, synthetic monochromatic rug. I think I had reasonable expectations. What I received was actually SHOCKING. The rug I received in the 12 x 12 size is SO BAD! I think I may have received one that someone returned? Half of the rug looks tattered and has holes where there were previous snags. The raised part that creates a patters is in worse shape on that half. Then the other half looks a bit better. If the whole thing looked like the better half, it would be much better. The way it is shipped is HORRIBLE. It is folded up and crammed into a box. Not rolled. Not protected by plastic. Nothing. Folded up like an old blanket and shoved in a box. Again, I'd be fine with the packaging except for the fact that it has left stretched out parts of the rug that will not settle down flat on the floor. It's terrible. Even though the price I paid (around $180) for a 12 x 12 is very inexpensive for the size, I'm just not sure the rug is worth much of anything. It would better be described as an outdoor carpet or something suitable for a warehouse or industrial setting. Yuck. So disappointed with the 12 x 12.What's strange is that we also ordered a 5 x 7 in the same color, and it is totally fine. It looks much better. The backing on it is much sturdier, and therefore it lays flat and looks like a carpet should, even though it's thinner.

We bought this to go under our piano to help with dampening sound on the wood floors and to also help to protect the wood floors from the pianos casters. The backing on the back coupled with the low pile thickness make for a great choice. It’s also the perfect size of our piano. The color was true to form and the design is subtle that it doesn’t contrast to our other rugs. So far it’s holding up well and the cat hair vacuums up off of it nicely.

I had this rug for 3 years. It was fine for the price but i don't recommend using it in a high traffic area as the edges seriously fray. I also had issues vacuuming it because long thick fibers would come off and wrap around my vacuum roller. It also shows every bit of dog hair on black and no matter how many times I vacuumed, I'd get more threads than dog hairs up. So if you like a rug that always looks dirty and you can't really vacuum it properly, I guess this is the rug for you.

The size and quality is great and even better for the inexpensive price. Looks perfect on my front porch.

Rug exceeded expectations. It is huge and soft. The rubber backing keeps it in place. The Cinder Gray has a slate-bluish hue rather than what, say, a charcoal gray would be. These are not washable, because I imagine one false move and the back would blow off into a million pieces in your washing machine BUT, I had to wash mine. And on a cold, gentle cycle with a little detergent, it came out just fine. Not sure I'd pop it in the dryer though. I'd buy these again. The only downside is that they do smell a bit like sulphur but I bet that'll go away in time.
