My 5 year old granddaughter adores this sewing kit. She is working her way through it. She started with the really cute fox and completed it faster than I expected. She usually loves drawing and painting but this has taken over at the moment. She has now mastered threading the needle without assistance and untangling the thread between stitches. Her older brother is now desperate to try it out. There is sufficient thread to complete each item; she enjoys choosing a colour to match the item she is making. The animal sections arrive separated into little packets with stick on parts for faces when the sewing is complete. Easy for her to match up holes for sewing. A great little kit!

This set was perfect for introducing children to sewing. Five fun little projects to keep children entertained and teach them the basics of sewing.

GRANDCHILD LOVED IT EASY TO FOLLOW GREAT PRODUCT

A great activity for our 5 year old granddaughter.

Brought for granddaughter, she liked it , but was a bit easy for her, she 7years old , but she is very clever.

The set itself is very good. My 8 year old enjoyed sewing it and was able to do it himself. However a lot of the fabric, particularly on the back, is just made of felt...so it stretched around some of the tighter areas and has worn very quickly with playing.

I really like this brand and wanted to get my daughter this after enjoying other sets. The item came in no packaging with the large Amazon label stuck directly to the teddy box. It was impossible to remove it and therefore it couldn’t be gifted! Really disappointed as it has put me off reordering as I don’t really have the time to go the post office to return one again if it comes this way again.

Bought this for Christmas. 1st graders loved it, pre-cut holes and blunt needles made it easy. Only had to help with threading the needles & tying knots. Occupied kids for a few hours.

My 5 year old begged to start sewing so we ordered her the fox kit. It was simple enough for her to do with guidance. The only issue she ran into was that the holes are difficult to see on the front of the body so I ended up taking over. Once the stuffing was in we noticed that some of the holes on the back felt began to lose their shape and stretch. Not sure how long it will be before those holes eventually tear completely. My daughter is absolutely in love with her fox and felt accomplished once it was finished. This is a great mommy and me project for younger kids and a great beginner sewing project for older kids.
