I had a question about the type of thread. how many mm and how many twists is a rope? Can you explain a little bit?

Thank you for your question. The 2/0 square braid wick is manufactured in the USA by Atkins & Pearce. The wick is cotton, it has been braided and consists of 34 individual threads. I need size #4/0 wick and the supplier I used to use doesn’t sell them anymore. Do you carry that size, if possible in a large spool?

I need wick for beeswax tea lights. Which size do you recommend?

Thank you for your question! I recommend the 2/0 cotton square braid wick for tea lights, however the quality of the beeswax can determine the right wick size. Testing different wick sizes is often necessary to find the best size, if 2/0 burns too quickly you can try 3/0 or 4/0.
