This product has a nice feel and look. I think any shower arm is as easy or difficult to install as any other. Look at a few videos before you start and have a good selection of tools ready. The only problem I had was in tightening the set screw on the escutcheon. After some frustration, I just wrapped some teflon tape on the shower arm and slid the escutcheon over it. Worked like a charm.

I purchased this product to enhance the appearance of my shower. One word of warning, I had to hire a plumber to break the wall out, because the old pipe was soldered to the pipe in the wall. This was expensive.This product is of the highest quality. In fact, while I expected it to be nice, I was surprised at how nice it actually is. Very heavy and well made and extremely attractive.

Very good quality with a nice modern look. Goes great with my Speakman Anystream shower head. One drawback -- it did result in slightly lower water pressure compared to the previous generic shower arm. My guess is that the inner diameter of the pipe is a bit less, given the overall thickness of the brass. Also, maybe the angular bend may contribute. At any rate, a couple of weeks later I barely notice the water pressure difference any more. The only other issue was that there is no room for error with the flange -- if there are irregularities in the wall behind it, it will not sit flush. I had to scrape away some old paint bumps back there to get it to sit right. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product,

When I bought this, I assumed the flange diameter was 2-1/2". It's only 2-1/4". I need the larger diameter to conceal a defect in the tile, so I'll be returning this.

Amazing quality and you can tell just by looking at it. This arm is super heavy quality brass and replaces an original one that broke off in the wall that was about 5-6 years old . I had a difficult time removing the old arm but I will be long gone before this one needs to be replaced.

Very expensive for what you get. Not a bad item, just 3x what other stores charge. It's a pipe LOL.

Yes this is expensive, but it IS really very high quality. Heavy, solid and a nice touch with the sharper angle on it (verses the standard hardware store curved lightweight tubes). The finish is impeccable, and did I mention this was HEAVY!? It probably weight twice the cheapo curved one that I replaced this with. Pairs very nicely with the also heavy and attractive Speakman showerhead. Note that in my picture I replaced the escutcheon with a square one to better fit the aesthetic of both the showerhead and the arm.

Love the hard angle on the arm, looks perfect with our shower fixtures. We bought this one because the arm that came with our rain shower head was too long for the space. Was very happy that this was compatible.

Good product would use again in the future.

Solid. This is much better made than the one it is replacing. As to price, you get what you pay for.
