I love this thing. I haven't used a Scangrip before but with this light don't think I'm missing out. They appear to have the same features and this product is a fraction of the price.Pros:- Great light output. Options to change color temps helps find different blemishes.- Can put it anywhere. The magnet is strong enough to support it in most angles and if that doesn't do it, the hook can make up for it.- The battery lasts long enough for my type of work. I appear to get about 5+ hours with the battery depending on the color temperature.- Feels well made and durable. The lens can come off to be cleaned if needed.- Uses USB-C. Thank you!Cons:- The hook feels like it could break. It is just a bit too flimsy for me. The only part of the build quality that is sub-par.- This doesn't like all USB-C charging cables. It doesn't charge from Power Delivery cables/bricks and is very picky. It will only charge at either 5v 1amp or 5v 2amp. Because of this, charging is SLOW.- Battery charge indicator light is next to the bright bulb, and only works when the light is on. You will have a hard time seeing how much charge is left because you have to look directly into the light. This doesn't make sense. The battery life indicator should be on the back or sides.- The on/off button is "meh". It is not as tactile as I'd like and covered with a rubber layer making it hard to find without looking. I'd prefer a more solid clicky button and different option to turn it on/off vs. changing light modes and light source.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great light for inspecting defects for the paint correction on my cars. There are 3 different color temperatures from warm to cool, and the magnetic base has pretty good stability. It has a single 21700 rechargeable battery that has a 4000mah claimed capacity. The battery life is maybe on the shorter side according to the built-in battery indicator, but it doesn’t take much effort to replace it with a higher capacity battery if it needs to. Overall I’ve been really happy with this light.

I have 15 years detailing experience with 3 years recent experience doing professional paint corrections and ceramic coatings for clients. This detailing inspection light is an amazing companion to have on hand for pre and post-paint corrections.Even as a final walk through light after doing a wax or using lighter diluted ceramic detailers this tool has come in handy a lot to ensure no streaking or high overlays of product are present when finalizing a vehicle whether it be day or night. Definitely worth the buy if you do a lot of detailing to your vehicles. The size, durability and battery life of the light is great despite only being able to charge the battery internally. The built in hook, stand and magnet all work and tie in seamlessly into a nice tidy package.

Light is good but the magnet is weak. I placed it on my van with the magnet side on it and it slid off my van causing damage to the wrap 🤦🏽‍♂️

I was a bit hesistant on this product, but for the most part it worked. The other name brand ones were a bit too expensive so I took the risk to get this one and I was very happy with it. The battery life is great. It charges pretty quick. And the three options of the light colors/frequencies were awesome. Definitely recommend purchasing.

I use this to check paint coverage and it has been great. I've also used it in some hard to reach situations when my other shop light won't cut it. It has a couple temperature settings, strong magnet, and is nice and bright.
