I didn't want to buy a drill because I already have an EXCELLENT screw gun with great battery life!
I recently purchased a new screwdriver gun from Harbor Freight and I really like it. I saw they also have drills but I got the idea to shop for an adapter. I saw one at Home Depot and it was about 26 dollars, or about 2X the price of this one, and only had one size. For most drilling projects you really don't need to use very large drill bit so I purchased this through Amazon and was pleasantly surprised. PRO's: It holds onto the drill bits just fine and my screwdriver has a light to illuminate what I am working on. My older drill doesn't. Quick release! If you want to drill something, then quickly screw something but you don't want to lug both a drill AND screwdriver around, this is a great solution. Additionally, if you need two, different drill bits you can load both of these and put one in your pocket. Using the quick-release function most screwdrivers have you can swap out bits FAST and then a screw-head if needed. So using this in a screwdriver to drive pilot holes is IDEAL! Durability? So far it has been very durable and seems to be very well made, indeed. Now for the cons: As far as I can tell there are no drawbacks to using this at all. I keep it in my tool belt at all times along with a few drill bits because I have found they really do come in handy around the house.

Good chucks that can be used with an impact driver

Nice little chuck..but only work for forward rotation.
I purchased these to allow me to grab a circular-shaft mixing paddle in a power-screwdriver handle. I used the larger chuck to hold a 1/4 inch diameter shaft. It worked fine for my task, but it surprised me when I reversed the screwdriver drive and everything came apart. I guess I'm used to my power drill that uses a Jacobs-type chuck that can be driven under load in either direction. If you drive this chuck in the reverse direction, the chuck loosens up the grasped shaft just falls out. It's only functional for rotation in the forward (right hand rule) direction. That's a serious limitation for many applications and should be more clearly described in the Amazon write-up.

Some small misses, but otherwise hits the mark!
It's 2 bits, one small, one slightly larger tbh. When used with a quick-release drill, you end up with a pretty sweet chuck to use with your specialty drill bits. This makes all that switching between two types of drills a thing of the past. With 2 bits, you really unlock the flexibility. My only gripe is the almost an inch of space between the chuck and the end of the shaft. This make for a flimsier and shakier experience with wider bits like spades and buffer attachments. Its noticeable enough to drop the rating 2 stars, so you be the judge on that.

barely work
these are drill chucks, which rely on smooth rotation of the outer barrel to grip a drill. Both items are very roughly manufactured, and the outer barrels barely work - they barely turn, making their use difficult. Sometimes they JAM when one tries to turn the outer barrel to grip a drill bit, and a wrench is needed to free it up. LOOKS GOOD BUT MECHANICALLY THEY ARE TOTAL JUNK.

So far, it does the job.
Have not used the product, yet. As far as looks and coating and operation, it is quite perfect and meets expectations. I'll use it shortly, and update this review if all goes south. For now, some of the other reviewers were mistaken... the units do not fall apart if you unscrew the shaft all the way out... just don't throw it across the room of drop it in some oily mess... and, why would you want to do those silly things anyway? Just use CS (common sense), don't close your eyes, and pretend you are an adult... you'll be just fine. Oh, and don't hammer the end or use a pipe wrench on it (remember what I said about CS?). It is meant to hold a drill bit with a round or hex shaft. You'll probably use it in one of those quick-change chucks on a regular or impact drill. Buy something else if you want to swim with it or use it for a sinker when fishing. or hold a pencil... there are other accessories for those activities. But, to hold a drill bit... this just might work for you!
