good movie

Really good, but hope there is second movie later on.

I rented this today...I thought it was fantastic! Matt McConoughey, though I've always admired him, has been in some real lackluster films over the last few years... But this one kind brings his old spark & appeal back. He turns in an exemplary performance as a lawyer who works out of the back of his chauffeur-driven Lincoln Town Car, and basically, for the most part, has it all down... That is until he runs into a maniacal, deviantly evil, young rich spoiled entitled man, brilliantly played by Ryan Phillipe. Not since his venomous two-faced character in "Cruel Intentions" have I seen him play such a despicable character with such vicious zeal! He has to be seen to be believed!---I don't want to ruin it for anybody. I would put this kind of in the same category as "Primal Fear" with Richard Gere and Ed Norton. This is a great psychological thriller and has a few surprising twists that will have you saying "OOPS!" The supporting cast: William H. Macy, John Leguizamo, Marisa Tomei, and others...all do a great job as well. I will definitely be buying this DVD tomorrow for sure! Don't miss...

Very good movie

Very good till the end, at which point you need a supercomputer to figure out the convoluted explanation for what took place.

Disk works as expected, does not vibrate, movie plays no issues.

I bought this dvd movie to watch it because I never had, but I am watching The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix and I'm loving it. I really enjoyed the movie with Matthew McConnaughay too, but it's a different style than the Netflix series.

Matthew McConaughey delivers as always, but again in a movie where he plays a lawyer. This time the movie reveals its title through his character who engages certain criminals via his lincoln continental car. There some interesting scenes no doubt, moreover with the biker gang. The movie shines moreso at the end when all that he has strived for suddenly falls apart and the truth comes out about his client, and how there's a lot of manipulation going on. This movie overlaps other movie plots in various ways but holds its own as a unique contribution to the genre.

Wer ein Fan von den Grisham-Verfilmungen ist, wird hier definitiv nicht enttäuscht, sondern positiv überrascht. Die Verfilmung des gleichnamigen Romans "Der Mandant" von M. Connelly ist sehr gut gelungen und sehr spannend. Alle Fans von "Die Firma" oder "Der Klient" sollten sich diesen Film anschauen. Grisham ist natürlich einmalig und nicht zu vergleichen, doch Connelly's Story "Der Mandant" besitzt auf jeden Fall Grisham-Potenzial.

Mi rivolgo a chi non ama i legal thriller,beh se vedrete questo film cambierete idea,infatti questo a mio parere e' uno dei più belli.Gli attori protagonisti sono eccellenti,idem per i comprimari.Mattew Mc Conaughey dimostra alla faccia dei suoi detrattori di essere un ottimo attore, naturalmente quando la sceneggiatura gli da la possibilità di dimostrarlo.La trama inoltre e' ben congegnata in un susseguirsi di colpi di scena, in maniera tale da rendere il tutto estremamente avvincente.Acquistatelo ad occhi chiusi e non ve ne pentirete!

映画館で見ました。 私が見に行ける範囲の映画館では、なんとわずか2週間のみの 上映！！万難を排して、行きましたよ。 行った甲斐がありましたよ。 お客は少なかったけど。 面白いのに。みんなもっと見に行きましょうよ！ 原作を書いた、マイクル・コナリーのファンなんです、私。 原作と映画が全然違うと、ものすごくがっかりしますが、 これは許容範囲。 最後の方が、ちょっと「そりゃないじゃん。」て感じが ありましたけど。 同じコナリー原作の「ブラッド・ワーク」よりはずっと許せます。 マシュー・マコノヒーの、髪の毛が好きです。 どんな、って、なんか寝起きのくせのついた くるくる巻髪、仕事に疲れて飲みすぎた次の日の まとまらないくりくり髪。汗で額にへばりついた くるくる髪。 ああ、ほんと、まとまらなくて大変そうだなあ、 でも、なんか色っぽいの。 直してあげたくなります。 「評決のとき」の若手弁護士のときも そうだったっけ？ あまりにも気になるので 「評決のとき」もまた見直してしまいました。 やっぱりくりくり髪でした。 マコノヒーのファン、ってわけではなかったのですが、 これは掘り出し物。彼の魅力が全編にみなぎってます。 ライアン・フィリップも良いですよ。 お坊ちゃまぶりと、ただのお坊ちゃまじゃないところが、 秀逸。 そこはネタバレになるので詳しくは書けません。 マイクル・コナリーの、ハリーボッシュシリーズの 方が、本筋なので、そっちをきちんと映画化して 欲しいんですけどね。本当は。 あ、でもマコノヒー主演で「真鍮の評決」が映画化されたら 絶対見に行きますよ。
