Easy to install / good quality
Very easy to install you will just need to pick up a gasket and ( 2 ) 1/2 inch X 1-1/4 inch bolts and ( 2 ) Slim flat washers so you can install it. FYI The first Goulds VJ10 pump last Me 22 years so I Bought the same one. Hoping I get the same service out of it .

Easy to install-needs better instructions
The pump was extremely easy to install, but the instructions could have been better. If you are reasonably mechanically inclined, you can figure it out for yourself. You simply unbolt the old pump, remove the threaded bolts from the old pump and screw them into the new one. You can go out and purchase new bolts, but good luck finding the correct size. The old bolts were in good condition, so we re-used them. The pump is easy to hook up electrically (2 wires and a ground), but there are no instructions to tell you how to set the pressure on and off mechanism. We had to Google the instructions to get it set correctly. The entire installation took about a hour and half.

The pump was complete with everything needed to swap the old to ne. We have water now, Hurray!
