Works well for music equipment
Works well I use it to hook up my audio interfaces, Boss rc600 looper, and other random devices. It’s a little heavy but well built.

Works well but pay attention **REVISED**
The device has worked well for me. However potential buyers should note that the 2nd USB C port is reserved for power input from a separately purchased power supply. So the device provides only a single USB C port for attaching devices. I use the device on power from my own computer. So undocking my computer requires some careful steps in the correct sequence: (1) eject all external drives; (2) power down the external display; (3) unplug Anker from computer; (4) remove power from the computer. The device comes at a great price, though, so excellent value. *REVISION* After four months of use, the HDMI port seemed to fail--the monitor was indicating that it was not connected. I wrote to Anker support and received a reply within two hours. The reply told me how to reset the docking station. It worked. Kudoes to Anker Support!

One stop shop for my keyboard, mouse, speakers, monitor.
I have my laptop on a fairly tall laptop stand with lots of things connected to it. I needed a hub so I can quickly take one chord out in order to take my laptop with me, then plug it back in with one chord when at desk. This does just that. I was concerned about the length of the cable reaching the laptop on my laptop stand so I bought a cheap male to female USB-c extension cable that adds another 7" and it works perfectly fine. Hasn't been long but I'm happy with it so far. update 7/6: Works great on my personal laptop but for some reason the mouse and the keyboard don't work when plugged into my work laptop, even though the monitor still works. I wish it worked on both :(.

Anker upgrade for iPad Pro (M1 chip) with iPadOS16 (external monitor support)?
Device tested on: 2021 iPad Pro 12.9 inch 5th Gen (with M1 chip) Operating system: successive iPadOS 16.0 & 16.1 betas I'm currently testing Apple's public beta of iPadOS16 (expected to be released in October), focusing on its novel support for external displays in extended screen mode. I bought this Anker 565 11-in-1 USB C Hub specifically to connect to the Samsung 49-inch CRG9 monitor, without having to lose other functionalities on the single Thunderbolt port of my iPad Pro 12.9" 5th Gen. Few of the currently available hubs offer a DisplayPort which, unlike the HDMI option, ensures high native resolution (5120 x 1440 Dual QHD) when running full screen on such large displays. Connecting via this hub gives the same results as connecting the monitor directly to the iPad Pro's USB-C port, any display limitations and distortions being due to the current state of the iPadOS16 beta (its Stage Manager application). The descriptions and connection diagrams specify the 10 Gbps USB-A and USB-C ports to be version 3.2 Gen 2, but the printed Welcome Guide lists both as (only) USB *3.1* Gen 2. Anker confirmed on Sep 21, 2022, that these two ports are indeed 3.2 Gen 2 and is correcting the print documentation. To add to this confusion, they offer an earlier, slightly cheaper (by about $5 to $10), 11-in-1 hub (without the "565" moniker), where both these ports are only USB 3.0: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08NDGD2V5 I inadvertently purchased this earlier model at Amazon but canceled the order before it was shipped. I'm also using the hub's Ethernet, Audio, and USB-A 10Gb ports, which are working flawlessly. The latter is connected to an Anker USB 3 hub providing access to external storage (Seagate drives, flash drives, etc.). The lower rate USB 2.1 ports for keyboard and mouse are superfluous, as I have Apple's Magic Keyboard and bluetooth mouse. Nor do I need the USB C-PD, for the iPad Pro is instead powered directly via the Magic Keyboard (without having to rely on the former's single USB-C port). The hub's obvious shortcoming is the shortness of its cable. While this might be OK to connect to a laptop with its USB-C port just above the desk surface, most iPads are held horizontally on a stand (like Apple's Magic Keyboard), such that the port is way higher. My Anker 565 hub barely touches the desk surface and cannot be shifted even a little, because the Samsung CRG9 monitor stand is in the way (see photos). Anker might consider releasing an updated version of this hub to specifically target iPads with the M1 chip. There should be growing demand after the official launch of iPadOS 16.1. Personally, I would recommend dropping the HDMI port, because it should be possible to use a DisplayPort to HDMI cable. Added 01 Oct 2022: Unfortunately, the latest 16.1 beta has dropped support for extending the display onto external monitors (only screen mirroring remains as before). This is in response to the many bugs and complaints regarding implementation and the demand of those with earlier non-M1 iPads to have the benefits of overlapping windows (provided by Stage Manager). However, Apple has stated that it will reintroduce external monitor support in a subsequent special release later this year. So, my request to Anker for a version of this dedicated to M1 iPads still stands,

Incredible Quality, Incredible Results!!
AMAZING!! I use my Samsung Z Fold with a Maono Podcast Soundboard for podcasting. Having the phone charge from the soundboard power passthrough was inadequate to keep the phone charged, and generated "noise" in the path. I got the Anker 565 USB-C hub, and routed the power and signal through the Anker hub. WOW!! My phone remains fully charged throughout the podcast, there is ZERO "noise" in the signal, and I can actually do more than ever expected! The quality of Anker products has been proven with me Over and Over with every single product I have purchased. From high-end 240w USB-C cords, to Power Banks, Power Blocks, Bluetooth Earbuds & Headphones, across the board; I have never been disappointed! I highly recommend Anker, and specifically the Anker 565 USB-C hub!!

On a MacBook Pro M4, not all devices connected via USB 3.2 port were discovered by the OS. (They are discovered with an older hub, and with direct dongle connection).

I have tried other cheaper brands of USB-C hub and although they were cheaper they were poorly made or didnt work as promised and were tempremental. This hub works great, its nicely made and works as promised with plenty of connections to suit even a demanding user. I have mine wired up and using the below perfectly: 1x Display port 34" 1440p monitor 1x HDMI port 27" 4K monitor 1x Wireless Keyboard & Mouse (Via single USB-A socket) 1x Wireless Plantronics headset 1x Logitech Webcam 1x USB-C laptop power supply My advice would be to not go too cheap when buying USB-C hubs as you get what you pay for, Anker makes nice products.
