I have 2 hydroponic systems and doing microgreens so need to change out plugs each new grow. These are perfect and already damp with a great cost. Keeping this on my reorder list.

Hey there! So, I wanted to share with you my latest hydroponic gardening discovery of these amazing pods! I got them to use with our hydroponic tower and let me tell you, it's been a blast choosing and starting my own seeds with them. Ive tried Root Riot a few times, and had such bad luck I was off to the races to find something new, and oh boy these things blow them out of the water. Usually, we harvest about 2-4 plants every week for our salads, so we start around 12 seeds every 2-3 weeks. When we received the plugs, they were all moist and ready to use. Since we stagger their use over many weeks, we lay the new plugs out on a cookie rack and let them dry out completely before storing them. When it's time to start the seeds, we just rehydrate the needed number of plugs for a few minutes. The best part is that we haven't had any issues with molding or algae growth when working with the dehydrated plugs. They perform just as well as they do when they are new. (We did have some problems with black/brown mold and green algae type things when we tried Root Riot and some of the other cheaper knock offs.) Ive grown plenty of “tomatoes”, peppers, cucumbers, and flowers which were all transferred to outdoor grow facilities with well north of 90% success rate. Couldn’t be more stoked. When they say these things are optimized and aerated for superior lateral root growth, they are not kidding. Roots sprout through these things like crazy. The Root Riot ones seem overly compact, and the roots are thinner and break off super easily. I cant understand fully the internals that causing the difference, but I’m absolutely not going back. Love these things. To sum it up, we wouldn't be this successful if we were using inferior plugs. This is an awesome product and is perfectly suited to our seed-starting needs.

These plugs are great they came pre moisture and has enough nutes in them to start your seeds or clones definitely recommend them

I've bought these twice now and they are a game changer for tissue culture acclaimation. Pods are pre-moistened and include beneficial fungi to support root growth. Easy to cut with scissors. Fit perfect in my trays. Have had zero failures with these pods. Excellent price compared to what gree houses often sell them for.

Do not buy for tissue culture plants!!! Killed all 50 of them on me. None grew roots. I don't think these are spongy enough for tissue culture. I spent hundreds of dollars on those TCs only to have them die because of these crappy plugs.

These are great cubes I love them! The only reason I didn’t give this five stars is because I bought a 50 cube package which only contained 40 cubes! And yes I do know how to count!

Exactly what I was looking for + fast shipping! ... I really wanted to something organic for cloning without worrying about losing seedlings or contaminating them with additives / etc. and so far working great (~91% germination rate= better than my typical)... I tried 2 other brands and diy before these and honestly these win by a mile. Biggest problem with the other brands I tried was molding, which I believe was due to the other plugs being too dense to support adequate nutrient exchange (==> rotting roots + mold). These plugs you can actually see that they are fluffy, but they still hold water which is great. Overall, pros so far = organic! work, and holes make it really easy to use. Cons = wish these could be purchased locally. I don't have any pics yet, but I plan to upload some soon as these are underrated and if I actually saw some pics on these it would have saved me $ and time wasted on other versions.
